foxes_rule1978 Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 I'm still up too... guess setting my alarm for the f1 wasn't worth it, I will be up when the race starts
Daveaway Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 Living not far from Croydon with many Palace fans around m sooooo glad that they will keep their loud mouths shut
Leicester_Numan Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 Are you quite a young guy, and you joined in singing "we're gonna win the league" at the end? I was next to the Palace fans and wondered why a Palace fan was singing that! Fair play to some of the Palace fans though, they were joining in and singing "you're gonna win the league" after the game, they looked genuinely happy for us Just seen a video on Twitter from a Palace fan filming our fans and joining in "now you're gonna believe em, they're gonna win the league" selfie video style.
MC Prussian Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 The 1-0 scoreline doesn't do our work and workrate justice. Not for the first time. Once again, we were highly effective and hit the opposition on the counter. If it hadn't been for Hennessey or the Palace defense, this could've ended 3-0 or 3-1. That through ball to Mahrez in the first half was mind-blowingly perfect, pity the keeper had a final touch on Riyad's shot. Albrighton should've also been rewarded with a goal, only for the Palace goalie to parry it. Dann pulling Huth's shirt in the Palace box looked like a clear penalty to me, as he is impeding Huth quite clearly. Okazaki heading a throw-in by Fuchs just wide of the near post was another memorable moment from yesterday's matchup. We've got so many tricks up our sleeves and players that simply enjoy the game on a weekly basis that we're had to figure out. Did you lot also notice how precise Schmeichel's goal kicks were? All the way straight down to Mahrez at the other end of the pitch, for instance. There were only a few instances where I thought Palace were threatening, for most part, we kept them under the cosh. It didn't help that they're on of the out-of-form teams in the league that can't even buy a goal to score. We could've still switched a gear or two and exploit their weakness on the ground even further. Seven games to go. Four wins and we're done I think.
erlee Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 Great win still on a high can't sleep drink a few cartons of guiness..
Crinklyfox Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 I usually throw in the odd comment during the course of a match but yesterday I couldn't take my eyes off the play for a second. I've rarely been so nervous, especially in the second half. For the first time in my life I'm glad I'm on beta blockers. It's because it means so much. The team has the potential to achieve the greatest feat in the club's history and it's in touching distance now.
Vlad the Fox Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 I didn't feel nervous yesterday and felt we were in control. On Monday however I considered leaving the ground with 20 minutes to go and going for a long walk away from the kp until it was finished I was so tense. My dad told me that when listening on the radio my mum would sometimes take the dog for a walk for the last ten minutes of matches if it was tense.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 I remember a starry eyed 6 year old going to his first game at the magnificent Filbert Street in 1969. I was immediately hooked on the beautiful game and forever in love with MY/OUR team Leicester City. Years and years of ups and downs a lot more thin than thick yet we have always been there, forever hoping! Some beautiful football, would the O'Neill years ever be surpassed? Heartbreak, relegated to 1st division (old 3rd tier) joy of promotions, the greatest escape in Premiership History but NEVER EVER especially since the inception of the Premier League and the dominance of the Big 6 say did I think I'd see us with a chance of winning it. I am not ashamed to say, seeing the scenes at the end of the game yesterday left me in tears. The magnitude of what could be happening, "Now you're gonna believe us, we're gonna win the league"
Jacafox Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 Having come out of Glenfield hospital Friday after suffering a heart attack the previous week I was hoping for a relatively easy victory yesterday, I watched the match on a stream. I have to say I felt confident all the match that the 3 points were ours. I wasn't nervous even when Delaney hit the bar, it happened so quick. Absolutely brilliant champion performance, every player was immense all over the pitch, the fans were the 12th man, yet again. I'm a pessimistic sod when it comes to the City, having supported for 51 years who wouldn't be. But after yesterday I am beginning to believe that we will be champions and I never thought that would be possible, especially in these times.
ScouseFox76 Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 The last 5 mins had me half feeling sick with butterflies and half feeling like I was about to shit myself... My heart feels fine but my bowels can't take it anymore!!! My favourite quote of the day!

RowlattsFox Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 Anyone know how many days we've been top this season? Compared to the other teams. It would be a travesty if we don't win it.
st albans fox Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 Anyone know how many days we've been top this season? Compared to the other teams. It would be a travesty if we don't win it. I believe we will shortly overtake Man City's total.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 What a game, and totally nerve shattering. Well done City. Seven games to go, and time will go slowly. I got home at 01.40, very much the worse for ware! Hope you got back to Leicester ok Mike.

TheSomersetFox Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 Loved Vardy and Mahrez's celebrations too. They both looked dead pissed off
