Used to be apple man myself, then I was given a android for work.  Since then I've always been android, it's cheaper, better apps and can do everything an apple can

Pixel 2 has been getting some pretty poor reviews, the screen has been slated but the camera is the best on the market currently, it's incredible. Stock android is great to have though and definitely the closest thing to iOS as far as android goes so shouldn't be too much of an adjustment for you. I'd definitely look at the new oneplus though as it's definitely the best value for money flagship phone on the market.

Buying Samsung/iPhone/etc is a waste of money nowadays. Do your research and you can get excellent spec phones for a fraction of the price. Especially if you're prepared to order from China and wait a couple of weeks for delivery.

I've recently bought a Lenovo P2 and it's awesome. Mainly for its huge 5100mah battery!! Compared to the new iPhone X which has a 2750 and Samsung S8's 3000 it shits all over them. I'm quite a heavy user for browsing and watching video and it lasted me 3 full days on a single charge. 3 days!! Oh and it only cost £160 brand new! It's the best phone I've ever had and I've owned iPhone, Samsung, Motorola, and LG in the past.

Yeah I noticed from the ads that they're using a similar lowest common denominator approach with this product.

I think my personal highlight is "can it see at night" "yes" as they show us a dude taking pictures with the sun still setting and some well-placed lighting.

So ive ruled out the 2018 samsungs cuz well im tired of samsung phones and im not a huge fan of their rounded edge screens.

 

I want a phone with a regular headphone jack but good camera so that rules out the pixels.

 

Looking for a phone that has ip67/68 ratings for dust/water etc. My kids have dropped my phone in water before so my s5 was safe.

 

Also want expandable storage.

 

Leaves phones like the g6 or lg v30 or sony xz1.

 

Admit that i love my wife's xperia z2 pics compared to my s5. Sure its not an edge to edge screen but that doesnt make me hard. The porn on any phone will  suffice for that lol.

 

Any personal experience with the above phones or any others meeting above criteria?
