ThaiFox Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Karma for us wishing that the Spuds players got injured? I never wish injury on any player, no matter how much I dislike them, and I really, really loathe tottingham. I'd love us to win the league with other teams having their full squads, otherwise it's an even bigger excuse for the media to say we won it on default, or because of a weak league. Having said that, nothing wrong in wishing a few suspensions or tiredness on rivals!
Clever Fox Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 either way this shouldn't be a problem, He has a week to get over any little twinge he may have felt. Unless it's more than stated he should be ok to play except maybe someone might have to take the kick outs. Isn't the 19 year old goal keeper we have his understudy for Denmark also. So if Kasper doesn't play on Tuesday the Lad gets a game to improve his confidence and experience. Then if needed on Saturday he'll be more ready. I'd personally prefer the young lad to Swartzer.
Carl the Llama Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Didn't he have a bit of a hammy strain in the Newcastle match? So even if he did have a problem with it it's hardly like it would have been Denmark's fault... Or am I just making that up?

He needs to get back to Leicester ASAP and have a blood transplant from a virgin unicorn.
yorkie1999 Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 This should get the most "likes" in foxestalk history. Bet no one reads it. Dont panic mr manwaring
erlee Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Still bemused as to how we thought a 43-year-old is a totally adequate back-up keeper. Hopefully Schmeichel is fine (and he appears to be) but how we didn't sign a younger back-up is strange. haha Bufon is already 38 - close to top form Schwarzer is capable backup. Mondragon was the oldest goalkeeper (Colombia) in the last World Cup at 42
erlee Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 This is not the news I wanted to hear... The thought of Schwarzer actually being in goal sends shivers down my spine ... you are easily scared... last season youmust spent all your time at the toilet

Spurs have already nabbed a small benefit in the form of Butland being out for their Stoke game.
biggs Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 I laugh at some of the comments on here. Hardly fearless...I take it some of you aren't enjoying this run in at all. Scared of your own shadows...

I'm even scared of the impossible. On ITV's post match discussion in Berlin, Lothar Matthaus said 'most players would break their leg if they tried the 'Vardy flick'. I had a sudden rush of panic, momentarily unable to separate past, present and future .
The_77 Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Iverson on Sunday, ha. This thread is really something else.
WesMorganGod Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Schwarzer could cost us badly,. he is just too old to get down quick enough, reflexes and speed. We need Kasper, I hope he will be ok for Southampton game
WesMorganGod Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Wow he will be 44 this year!!! I didnt even realize he was that old,. I thought 40, but he is older. Way too risky.
Christoph Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Yeah Schwarzer is awful. You may as well stick a scarecrows in the middle of the goal. Hopefully Kasper is alright if not go for anyone else. Are we able to get Hamer back or is he stuck at Bristol till the end of the season?
filbertstreet Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 I hope he plays a game where we're 6-0 up or something just so we break another record this season, he'll be the oldest player to play in the premier league

Are we able to get Hamer back or is he stuck at Bristol till the end of the season? Hamer came back ages ago, not sure if he is registered though.

erlee Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Tell you what, he'd be a good way of drawing the opposition forward. best thing someone has said about this the whole bluudy week
LAprice_ Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Why the constant Schwarzer hate? Both Pearson and Ranieri put him on the bench ahead of Hamer. Yeah, he's not as good as he once was and yeah he's not as good as Schmeichel (not many are at the moment) but come on, let's give the guy a break. Please.
