You could dress it up as being a complimentary distributor at Leicester city football club or you could put gave out doughnuts down the Citeh lol

I'm not knocking the club at all but I'm guessing the local boozers will be a tad pissed about this. Due to all April's game being on a Sunday I've heard one particular pubs taking will be down by about 8k in the month.

Hopefully people will use this beer as an extra pint and not just a way of saving a few quid.

Can't seeing it having any impact in the slightest. It's a small bottle of beer at the end of the day. People will see it as an extra, not a replacement for the pub.

Someone can have mine, I'm not getting to the ground at 12.30 just for a free beer, the parcel yard can keep taking my money lol

Go to the ground early have your free beer then go to the pub?

I'm with you but the pubs have done all right since we got promoted its not just home games which are now all sold out its away games being shown to packed pubs on dodgy streams reckon us getting promoted has kept a number of pubs local to the ground afloat.

Good job I'm not a local boozer then... not sure why anyone would care if the pubs takings are down a bit or not. Most have been making a small fortune since promotion.

That's not true at all, I'm just saying that some rely on match day trade to stop them going under. I'm not having a go at the owners at all, it's not there fault that people don't go out anymore.

Parcel Yard to ground, then back to Parcel Yard, then to ground? He'll have burned off his doughnut at least...

Well more fool them, because anyone with any sense has had the football on for home and away games via stream. Absolutely no chance places like the new road inn haven't taken a shed full of extra cash since we got promoted.

Yes you've lost a few match days throughout the year compared to the championship, but they are mostly all weekend games at least. In the champ we'd have got knows how many games on Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursdays when less will be boozing.

Personally I've also noticed more people in the pubs after games and for longer on the walk into town.

As you say, if there are issues it'll be that they struggle the rest of the week rather than match day.

They will make it back in Euros selling shite lager with a stinking attitude

Not every pub has, or wants to have, a TV in it. Shame some good boozers are losing out because of the kick-off time changes, hope they can recoup their losses.
