promised land Posted 1 April 2016 Posted 1 April 2016 Only on foxestalk does a thread about a free beer and doughnut turn into a moan about getting to the ground early and local pubs losing trade. The club could put on a free hooker for every bloke before the game and some would still moan about it in some form.

Tbf the logistics of getting that many hookers to that many fans probably requires dipping a toe in the human trafficking trade.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 1 April 2016 Posted 1 April 2016 Tbf the logistics of getting that many hookers to that many fans probably requires dipping a toe in the human trafficking trade. Our owners have access to Far East Airports, no problem!
lifted*fox Posted 1 April 2016 Posted 1 April 2016 And to think, some people don't think our owners are worthy of a 'thank you photo book' because they're just 'doing what all good owners should do'. The guy is buying 30,000 people beers and donuts for his ****ing birthday ffs. Also, that people are still finding something to moan about in this thread. Amazing.
SemperEadem Posted 1 April 2016 Posted 1 April 2016 No chance he is buying these doughnuts. Marketing from their end not ours.
VLC86 Posted 1 April 2016 Posted 1 April 2016 FFS I'm on a diet, recon they will give out some Kale instead?
SystonFox Posted 1 April 2016 Posted 1 April 2016 FFS I'm on a diet, recon they will give out some Kale instead? A Krispy Kreme is only 6 syns. Also they cost a ****in bomb at m1 services which is where they are blatantly being supplied from. Fair play to Vichai

Larry_LCFC Posted 1 April 2016 Posted 1 April 2016 A Krispy Kreme is only 6 syns. Also they cost a ****in bomb at m1 services which is where they are blatantly being supplied from. Fair play to Vichai He will be going down the services at 8am personally and handpicking all 30,000 of them. Dedication that.
Spudulike Posted 1 April 2016 Posted 1 April 2016 A Krispy Kreme is only 6 syns. Also they cost a ****in bomb at m1 services which is where they are blatantly being supplied from. Fair play to Vichai  N'Golo is being sent to intercept them before they get to the services.
nobby.bk Posted 1 April 2016 Posted 1 April 2016 I think his gesture to the fans is genuine. It's not about marketing which some have suggested. Like it or not, LCFC is famous worldwide because of the incredible performance of the team this season. All the international press, magazines, cable networks and TV networks want to talk to Vichai. He is media shy and rarely gives interview to the press even in his home country. Vichai doesn't need to give free beer to market himself to the world. He is grateful to LCFC supporters and just wants to say thanks to the fans. It's also normal in Thailand for wealthy people to celebrate their birthdays by giving gifts to local communities and family members. The givings bring joy to both the givers and the receivers. Just enjoy the beer and don't worry too much. Â
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 1 April 2016 Posted 1 April 2016 No chance he is buying these doughnuts. Marketing from their end not ours. Eh?
Stadt Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Eh? He said, "No chance he is buying these doughnuts. Marketing from their end not ours."
Babylon Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 No chance he is buying these doughnuts. Marketing from their end not ours.Bit like drug dealers giving away samples to get people hooked... They'll be a hundred new doughnut addicts in a few days time.
goose2010 Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 No chance they would give away 30000 doughnuts for marketing, he would of paid something probably cost price. If they were doing it for marketing reasons they would of give out vouchers to get you to the store, fair play to the owners another incredible gesture! Now just for the final one of giving season tickets away for free

tommo blue Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 30000 people singing Happy Birthday to our beloved owner, sure he would love that.
SemperEadem Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 People didn't join in with singing Happy Birthday to the club earlier this year.
Larry_LCFC Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 People didn't join in with singing Happy Birthday to the club earlier this year.I'll do anything for a doughnut.
