THAT day vs barnsley. Was only 3 years ago lol

Wasn't sure if we had a similar thread but with things like timehop and stuff reminding you of what happened on this day however many years back I thought it'd be funny to look back. My timehop this morning is a tweet of mine that simply says "does anyone even care anymore? #lcfc" from this day 3 years ago. That performance inspired http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/87156-our-fans/ about how we all hated Pearson and it was never going to work :D

This performance/result came 4 days after Big Wes got sent off after 2 minutes as we lost at home to Millwall and most the world thought Morgan should call it a day at Championship level, let alone Premier League. Vardy and Kane barely got off the bench between them in either game and are now England's shining lights heading into the euros. Magic.

Probably the lowest moment in Nige's second spell even over Deenygate, an absolutele pants performance from Drinkwater, Knocky, Marshall and Wood. Think Drinkwater was dropped after that game and everyone called him shit? How times change.

this week 7 years ago we got done in league one by peterborough and followed that up by conceding a last minute equaliser at home to carlisle. we all panicked and thought we were going to throw away a decent lead at the top of the league...

Yeah saw this today on my Facebook 'On This Day' section. I remember the game well.

2-0 flattered us hugely, Schmeichel had a cracking game and kept the score down.

last pen he saved for us?

That was an absolute disgrace and it came on the back of a god-awful run where it looked like Pearson had lost the players and ran out of ideas. It was the only time during his 5 and a half seasons where I've wanted him to be sacked.

Haha remember this well, it was absolutely p!ssing it down.

Dickov and Fryatt as a partnership in that game was horrific to watch.

yeah it was.

transfermarkt have stats on it. Last pen that he saved was this Barnsley match. Last one missed but which he didn't save was 1-0 win over Burnley.

That's was the worst away performance I've ever watched from us. Then we played them the following season at there place and it was probably the most easiest league performance I've seen away.

Good times!

Yeah, the promotion season was basically reversing all those bad results.

Ipswich away- 0-1 to 2-1

Millwall home- 0-1 to 3-0

Barnsley away- 0-2 to 3-0

Derby away- 1-2 to 1-0

Sheffield Weds home- 0-1 to 2-1.

It's almost 10 years ago when Sheffield Wednesday came to our place and smashed us 4-1 with three absolute worldies. Glenn Whelan was the best of the bunch. One of the best away performances I've seen since we moved into the KP.

Probably the low point in my time supporting Leicester including relegation to league one.

The fact that we'd been clearly building to something under Pearson and we were just pissing it away with a succession of hapless performances was galling. If Barnsley had won 5-0 it wouldn't have flattered them.

Marshall having a pop at the away fans was hardly a plus point either, especially not seeing as we had at least 2k there despite an horrendous run of form.

7 years ago we went 1-0 down against hereford. today gigi buffon tweeted his congrats that we're in the champions league.

That Barnsley game was horrific. Think I left the ground around 70 minutes. 2-0 did actually flatter us that day. Marshall generally did sum our run up in that period.

Brilliant away day. Terrace, sunny day, promotion in sight. And the great thing is that probably a lot who were there that day will be at the European aways next year.
