st albans fox Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Title race far from over! Harry Kane vital for Spurs.. As is Wes Morgan for Leicester and Arry wouldn't be surprised if Wes got a call up for the England squad for the Euros.. AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE!? Wes would be astonished! Arry is busy helping Derby lose their way even more than they were It will have been written by his dog. He knows nowt about international football. He's more an expert in brown paper bags.
Carl the Llama Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Title race far from over!  [it is, we still have to finish the job] Harry Kane vital for Spurs.. [He is now that he's started scoring goals that affect the outcome of matches instead of flat-track bullying his way to a decent goal tally like earlier in the season] As is Wes Morgan for Leicester and Arry wouldn't be surprised if Wes got a call up for the England squad for the Euros.. [erm no you're not missing anything on this one, embarrassing line from Arry] AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE!?
Corky Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Joins the established list including Garth Crooks mentioning players playing for a country long after they've played for another. James Morrison for England despite his 20-odd caps for Scotland.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Wes call up, well being an England fan I wish, better than anything we have but problem being.. he is Jamican man... haha
marko Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Harry's dog's obviously been doing the proofreading for the article.
Sir Shep Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Perhaps if the London media popped its head out from time to time they'd realise that there's actually a city called Leicester! Meanwhile the daily express have joined in the calls for Mahrez to be added as a late addition to the England squad, as long as Milner or Delph aren't fit enough.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 I think this should be the England squad : Kasper Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Kante Albrighton Okazaki Vardy Guaranteed to win

possiblygeorge Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 This guy is the manager of Jordan. That says something in itself. Team full of hacks.
inckley fox Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Have to say I tend to agree with him that some fans are getting way, way ahead of themselves. Champions merchandise, for instance - it's the stuff heartbreak is made of. Â And, of course, we don't want to be writing the script of Pochettino's or Wenger's pre-match rally cry on their behalf. I can't help but feel pictures of simpletons drunk on glory waving 'Champions' scarves, singing champions' songs and waving champions' banners sort of serves that purpose. It's possible to create a positive atmosphere without encouraging arrogance and complacency. Â None of which detracts from the fact that Redknapp says absolutely nothing else of interest in the whole article. He points out that there are 6-7 games to go and if we lose / Spurs or Arsenal win then we won't be as far ahead of them as we were previously. Wow. Thank god there are former managers out there to offer insight into the dynamics of the game because otherwise I'd never have figured that out. Â But, as obvious as this might seem, the next time I see someone clutching a 'Champions' banner or scarf it might be a good idea for me to remind them of the painfully obvious too. Not because I'm scared of what those images will do to me if they're brought up in the aftermath of a shattering anticlimax to the season, but rather because they might actually make that anticlimax more likely.

Pretty sure the champions scarf I saw being waved about was a 2013 Championship one.
Livid Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Pretty sure the champions scarf I saw being waved about was a 2013 Championship one.I thought so as well.I didn't see anyone wearing one with 2016 on it. If some chancer tries to make a quick buck by having a load of scarves made there's nothing any of us can do about it. Just don't buy one!!
st albans fox Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Btw, I bet arry didn't get within 200 miles of writing that article. he was away with Jordan until Thursday (cue jokes on old men and big titted tarts) and will have been busy on Derby business as soon as he got back. Still - if has his name on it so he deserves a 'kicking' for the rubbish in it.
