Jamie Vardy film could be in cinemas by this time next year

To be fair, if it's anything like The Damned United then it'll be brilliant.

Sadly I think it will be nothing like the Damned United, unless someone of the calibre of David Peace can get Pearson to open up, now that would be a film I would see.

Actually, despite his remarkable season at the Riverside, It's easy to forget about Juninho. Perhaps that's because Kåmark marked him out of both the League Cup final and the replay.

Unfortunately he wasn't so invisible when he came calling in an Atlético Madrid shirt.

Ha ha, fair point, but we still remember these players and those who lit up international tournaments, Stoichkov, Hagi, Baggio, Scillachi.

How many of you over the age of 30 had to wonder why people were eulogising over Trifon Ivanov? Maybe a few until you saw his picture:

Legend and if someone made a film of his life, many would go and see it, or a film about Andres Escobar (which probably already exists).

The point is sporting stories endure, this will be a cheap puff piece, that will serve no purpose, why spend millions trying to recreate an incredible footballing moment with some twat from One Direction when the real footage in all it's HD glory is there.

is it the fairytale of an amateur making it to the big time (which would probably gain more interest globally) or:

a detailed story of the actual player (which probably wont gain much interest from outside the uk)

It is the fairytale that they are basing the film, but it isn't a fairytale it is reality and half the world are tuning in every week watching it reach it's glorious conclusion. Why would they then pay again to watch a recreation of something they've experienced live?

Hagi was incredible. Add to that Lăcătuș, together with his 'Beatle mop top'.

Forget One Direction  - and on the subject of questionable Romanian barnets...remember this bunch of ponces?

I hear they are currently casting for the role of 'disgruntled fan who thought Vardy would never make it and actually thought Martin Waghorn was twice the player'.

Apply within :-)

It could be as terrible as Batman and Robin for all I care and I'd still go and watch it, then regret it after. Documentaries will be made at the end of the season regardless so everyone is a winner.

It's going to be a colossal turkey.

Can't have the judas back stabbing money grabbing part in the film though. That wouldn't be right would it? It would ruin the fairytale wouldn't it?

I mean could you imagine at the end of Forrest Gump finding out that all along he was a massive bellend?

Doesn't make sense that he would go to Arsenal (or anywhere for that matter), assuming the movie is still going into production.

Surely the film studios are going to be pissed off. Still, so many things don't make sense around this move.

Wouldn't watch it, even if he did stay, I saw the clubs history unfold in front of my own eyes, and have no interest in some chav from Sheffield.

His mistakes and story have been well publicised, and I wouldn't pay to boost his ego further, by watching it on the big screen.

We all know he's a little chavy ****, that was lucky we took a punt on him, but was accepted it as he was a Leicester player, and did well for us, but as seen on the jap incident, and his attitude before he joined us, he's not the greatest of role models.

doesn't change anything in terms or making a good storyline for the movie. Same way bad news still makes good news stories.

Deny it all access to LCFC branding and associated images.

Don't let any filming take place at the stadium.

Don't allow any interviews with any players

Don't allow Leicester branding to be used on anything

Trademark the word Leicester City so It can't be used

I wish people would stop being so bitter. We won the league, he was essential to that, now he appears to want a new challenge, everyone should be happy. We're not covering ourselves in glory right now by wishing abject failure upon one of our most important ever players and slating his wife for no obvious reason. We won the league with great dignity, it wouldn't hurt for a few people on here to learn something from that, even if they're feeling a little sore at what's happening. After all, every player will either abandon the club someday or be abandoned by the club. I don't see where the sudden astonishment is coming from.

Nothing against the guy for wanting to leave but I do agree, from a football perspective we have to move and put him in the past if he goes
