Collymore Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Ulloa has scored more goals this season than Hazard and Silva combined!
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Quality today. Won headers, tried his best when on the attack and when defending. Two goals, overall great performance, an excellent afternoon for him.
Brighton One Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Good evening Brighton fan here. We are all rooting for you and keep a very close eye on Leo. The man from Argentina was languishing in Almeria reserves when we got him, the team had been relegated from La Liga. We wondered whether he had been dropped because of his attitude, so when he signed we were concerned. Our worries were unfounded, the man is true class on and off the pitch and i believe his family still live down here. He never asked for a move, never sulked when we rejected offers from you, and we genuinely wished him well when he left. Last season he came down to watch us on a Tuesday night v Wigan, he got a taxi straight back to Leicester after the game at a cost of £250, he was in the crowd with us when we lost to Spurs in the cup last season......a lovely bloke. So pleased for him and you.....as i say, all at BHA are rooting for you. Leo scores on the big occasions eh

midland_red Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 his confidence must be sky high now - just what we need.
NoFuchsGiven Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Was strongly critical of him earlier in the season but i love the guy! Great attitude
Rincewind Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Jamie Vardy is having a party safe in the knowledge that he can get pissed and rely on the rest of the team to do just as good without him.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Superb effort today, delighted for him and us.
Detroit Blues Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 I haven't heard anything about his injury. Didn't it look like he had strained his back before being subbed off? He was moving around pretty gingerly on the sidelines and into the tunnel (from the tunnel cam). Hopefully it's something that can be managed because we will doubtlessly need him against Manchester United on Sunday.
Chester Dontlie Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Oh Leo Leo hear us shout across the land... My MOTM against Swans. Any update on his back injury? Yesterday he said he still feels it a little bit, but that didn't sound like it's anything serious http://www.setanta.com/ulloa-still-feeling-back-injury I just found this Leo song, almost as trippy as this season
STUHILL Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Thought he was exceptional yesterday. I still would have him drop to the bench and have Vardy come in with Okazaki doing his usual relentless pressing for 60mins, as it has worked well for us all season. Feel a lot better about Ulloa starting if Vardy is banned though. He will cause United problems in the air and hope he really attacks Blind at corners and crosses. He must be buzzing. I thought the back injury was caused by someone jumping and kneeing him in the back so probably just sore more than anything and nothing worse than that. Would be great to have Vardy's pace as I can see Man U coming at us and would usually suit those balls over the top but Ulloa can cause them a different type of problem.

Top scorer for us last year which contributed to us staying up. Great to see Knocky doing well for you. Don't let him take penalties in the playoffs. Hopefully you will come up automatically with Nuge and the Boro. Come on you seagulls!
AyewJoking Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 when does leo's contract expire? will he be even more valuable to the team next season as we may have to rotate players a little more? should we be looking to replace him with someone better (no room for sentiment etc) do we stick with him as we know what we get with leo and a new player may not settle? will he go somewhere else for more playing opportunities?

I don't think there's any reason to sell him. He brings a lot to the table. Honestly, right now one could argue that his pace is the only real area where he's lacking as his touch lately has just been brilliant. He provides defensive help and I'm comfortable with him as the pen taker if he's the one in the game. Not that he's taken that many for Leicester, but he's made them all, hasn't he? The other thing is his attitude--- there are certainly more talented guys out there, but how many of them could have played the role he has this year without causing problems in the locker room? I think he's more valuable to this team than what his price will likely be. Assuming Kram is gone for good, sign another pacey striker and then worry about other areas of need this summer.

Brighton One Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 has knocky shagged everyone in brighton yet Not sure, best he stays fairly sober though........ in Brighton
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 So pleased for him scoring twice yesterday, alongside the other important goals he's scored recently too. He's in great form - his control is superb, very good finishing, work rate etc. His whole overall performances at the moment are excellent. Love his attitude as well.

Like you said Leo's attitude is great, and he's a real team player. Recently, in an interview for us he mentioned that whether it's 10, 20 or 90 mins on the football field, he wants to play his part in the team - which goes to show his commitment and team player attitude. He's very good at finishing, especially in important games. Knockaert's doing well I hope, I do keep track of how he's doing and seems like he's doing well for you guys.
