FrankieADZ Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 good all round performance from the lads, the only negative was Drinkys red pleased with a point tbh
Chester Dontlie Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Is Graham Sourgrapes praising us right now or am I hallucinating
KP Fox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 8 points with 9 on the table for spurs. Absolutely no margin for error for them.
urban.spaceman Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Drinkwater's sending off was even more obscene than Vardys. Utterly disgusting
Izzy Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 How is souness even a pundit? He is a dinosaur If he calls us a 'small team' one more time, I'll drive up to OT and punch him in the gob
Systonfox74 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 You can still hear our fans singing in the away end on the sky coverage! Amazing support
lgfualol Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 That was horrible to watch. But well battled by the team. Morgan and Huth were excellent and Schmeichel was my MOTM. Everyone but those three looked shaky in the first half. Disappointed that we're getting all these red cards right at the end. Just hope King does a better job of replacing him than he did vs Liverpool last time, I'm sure he will. Besides, we might have won the league by then Time to relax.
RowlattsFox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Shows how far we've come that we have come to man Utd and played with professionalism and like we belong there. Confident we win that with vardy in the side.
m4DD0gg Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Great result given the opposition and playing away however the ridiculous over the top media hype has taken the shine off some what. Hope Kingy plays and not Inler against Everton inler
foxes_rule1978 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 A point at old Trafford is very useful... leaves Spurs needing to win out while we lose Man U to be fair have got better that was evident...
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Very questionable refereeing, but a fair result overall, I suppose.
KP Fox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 You can still hear our fans singing in the away end on the sky coverage! Amazing support Not only in the away end but in the Alex Ferguson stand too. Well done to the Manu fans who donated their tickets to our fans.
kingfox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Hopefully Leicester fan Cesc Fabregas can help us get over the line tomorrow, can't take much more of this I want the job done tomorrow! As for the game today, more inconsistent refereeing but Drinkwater deserved to be sent off, two silly fouls. Schmeichel & Morgan were brilliant, joint MOTM.
AyewJoking Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 I knew drinkwater would get himself sent off. ****ing knew it. I never really believed we'd win the league today but im still feeling disappointed. yeah yeah hardly the worst result but...frustrated
fazzyfox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Drinky's first booking is less of a pull than the one on Vardy vs West Ham which wasn't even given as a foul.
Mark_w Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Hopefully Leicester fan Cesc Fabregas can help us get over the line tomorrow, can't take much more of this I want the job done tomorrow! As for the game today, more inconsistent refereeing but Drinkwater deserved to be sent off, two silly fouls. Schmeichel & Morgan were brilliant, joint MOTM. I know the consensus is it was a penalty, and it was in the box, but I'm not even sure Drinkwater's second was a foul?
orangecity23 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Remarkable how Depay manages to twist 45 degrees to dive into the box. The more I watch it back, it looks less of a foul. Certainly a million times more of a dive than Vardy vs West Ham.
Jfox90 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Happy with the performance and application from the lads today with all the nerves any human being surely would feel. Drinky's red is one of the softest i've seen, no way rooney or fellaini should have been on pitch in comparison. 2 points to go till we hit dreamland unless chelsea do the yids...COYBS
Socks Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Lets not kid ourselves, a draw at Old Trafford when it was win or bust for them was a tremendous result. Without our star striker as well. This point changes a lot as it means Spuds need to win all 3. I know some of you were excited about it happening today but lets have some perspective here. this. total perspective
EastAnglianFox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 I thought both of the yellow cards on Drinkwater were weak. Agree Fully!! A few years ago they would have hardly been looked at as a foul let alone a booking.
mancunianfox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Thought he got the penalty decision with Mahrez correct but Drinky hardly touched him. No way was that even a foul. Shame because he played well today.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Those brainless idiots (Henry) on sky saying drinky fouled and should be penalty... Then have they forgotten the hand ogbonna put on vardys shoulder, for which there was more contact, clearly in the box and more reason to send off. Overall happy with the point. Don't know if King will be able to fill Danny's shoes against Everton. Hope Chelsea can get a point now.
