FireFox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Not all, he got the drinky one correct. We should have a penalty and Rooney should be off Half correct. Should have been a penalty.
Monk Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Overall a great performance from us, United were good today, and we needed to be on our game. Ref so inconsistent, but at the end of it a draw is a great result.
Chester Dontlie Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 That's 1 points won in the end, thank you The ref was a bit of a twat but that was a fair call with sending off Drinky... I'm just glad they didn't have a peno! Still gutted for him, left his heart there on the pitch. Was expecting a bit more in terms of offensive performace but it was alright. Mahrez was so brilliant at times!
Matt Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Happy with that, expected a point and we got it. For a majority of the game I thought we were the better team and could have scored a winner but the last 10 minutes were quite nervy. I think Drinkwater did foul but don't believe it was worthy of a second yellow, besides Rooney should have gone earlier. But hey a point, Chelsea could win it for us tomorrow, whilst i'll be ecstatic, it will be abit disappointing at the same time, we wanna do it when we play. But at the same time I don't want Tottenham to win tomorrow.
Izzy Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Ref had a super game. Mahrez was stupid he's beaten Rojo, why try and then win a penalty? Drinky twice made stupid challenges that he didn't have to do, he was crap in general today. You think Drinky was crap in general today? I thought he was one of our better players...
TheSomersetFox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Ref was a ****ing joke Spoilt the game ****ing big club cheats again Fycking cheats , who 'cheated'? poor accusation to use. Relatively pleased with that point anyway, bit gutted that we'll be missing Drinky if we need the points next Saturday though. Kasper was awesome today.
The Doctor Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Heart rate coming down again. Disappointed with the ref - red was fair but a lack of consistency having not sent off Rooney. Should have been a penalty on mahrez but hard to spot in the refs defence. Still won, just waiting for the confirmation
crisp packet Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Shows how far we've come . 10 men away at old Trafford 1-1 . Well done boys!! Come on Chelsea ..
Guest kristianity77 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 No complains. Draw a fair result. Bit nervous for the first 15 or so but then settled. Even though its a point it makes Spurs job even harder as now they need 3 wins as opposed to maybe 2 wins and a draw so happy with that.
BigWesMorgan Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Andy King starts next game...Hopefully he secures the ending to the fairytale...
Tuna Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Lets not kid ourselves, a draw at Old Trafford when it was win or bust for them was a tremendous result. Without our star striker as well. This point changes a lot as it means Spuds need to win all 3. I know some of you were excited about it happening today but lets have some perspective here.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Amazing to be so disappointed at a point at Old Trafford really!
UPinCarolina Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 I thought both of the yellow cards on Drinkwater were weak.
MC Prussian Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 The less said about the referee, the better. More than just a handful of dubious calls, in particular in Manchester United's favour (Fellaini, Rooney, Rojo spring to mind). The home side started well, then you could sense they ran their batteries dry as the second half progressed. We could've nicked a winner on a few occasions, but I'll take a point. We're now unbeaten in ten games! TEN GAMES! Today once more made it obvious what a great team spirit we have. At no point did I feel we'd cave in, even Simpson ironed out his mistakes as the game progressed. Shame Drinkwater will miss the Everton game. It's still in our hands. Before that, though, it's over to you, Chelsea FC...
EGBFitness Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Probably would of took a draw before kick off but the greediness of me wanted the win. We played well throughout especially under the circumstances and at old Trafford. Rooney had 5 incidents, few of them intentionally bad tackles but only 1 card, plus how many times was he in the refs face! We should of had a penalty first half. Drinky red card very soft! Hand on the shoulder is poor, wasn't even any shirt pulling involved! For Depay to the stand in front of the ref, hands on both and be smirking is an insult! Be supporting Chelsea tomorrow who I think will do a job on them Edit- Fellani should be banned for rest of the season too with the elbow too!
Monsell1976 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Happy with that, ref was ok, but should have finished with United with 9 men, us 10.
RUDZY Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 GOOD RESULT - Well Played Leicester City.Never gonna be an easy game!Today we were the better team.COME ON!!
Corky Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Lets not kid ourselves, a draw at Old Trafford when it was win or bust for them was a tremendous result. Without our star striker as well. This point changes a lot as it means Spuds need to win all 3. I know some of you were excited about it happening today but lets have some perspective here. Absolutely, felt we'd both draw and as you say, to do it without a central player to the way we play was impressive. It's an excellent result.
Sharpe's Foxes Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Very important point. Because this increases the likelihood of the worst case scenario being going into the Chelsea game with 2 draws which would mean that in the final game you would only need a draw or win to win the league instead of a win.
MC Prussian Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 This stress has made me lose my ability to do simple maths.. If they draw tomorrow then we have done it? Yes, if Spurs don't win tomorrow, we've made it.
Jonezy Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Awesome effort again! Except from flippin Michael Oliver (who normally is one of the better ones...).... How can we be on the wrong of that shit again... Double standards is really starting to piss me off. Man Utd dives all over and no yellows... They get away with pulling all game and then a red for Drinky for doing the same. Hopefully it all matters nothing, but man is it frustrating! Thanks lads. Now for Chelsea to help us!
Wrighty22 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Will DD get another game ban like Vardy for swearing at the ref?
Chester Dontlie Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Wes and Kasper were amazing, both would get my MOTM vote
