FantasticMrFuchs Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 LEICESTER CITY CLUB SHOP IS EMPTIED AS FANS SNAP UP AS MUCH MERCHANDISE AS THEY CAN FOR TITLE WIN Leicester City's club shop has pretty much sold out of merchandise as jubilant fans snapped up as many goods to celebrate their side's title-winning season. The shelves at the Premier League champions' official store were looking empty, with only a few mugs and footballs available to buy. Walls which used to be covered by replica shirts on the racks are now completely bare. The Foxes have seen a huge increase in demand for their merchandise following Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur last night. The draw at Stamford Bridge meant that Leicester were crowned as champions of England - against all odds. Last night fans partied on the streets of Leicester, outside the King Power Stadium and outside Jamie Vardy Melton Mowbray home, until the early hours of this morning. At the start of the season, and again in October, the bookies priced them at 5000/1 to win the league. To put it in to context - it was just as likely as aliens landing in the UK, the Loch Ness monster being discovered and Elvis Presley being alive and well. +194 Walls which used to be covered by replica shirts on the racks are now completely bare as fans wanted their own piece of history +194 Most of the shop was sold out as fans tried to buy memorable merchandise from Leicester City's title-winning season +194 The Leicester City club shop has been stripped of goods and shelves look bare at the King Power Stadium Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3570776/Long-night-Jamie-Leicester-City-star-Vardy-emerges-looking-tired-following-boisterous-house-party-celebrate-club-s-fairytale-Premier-League-win-fiancee-early-children-school.html#ixzz47dE4d7tg Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook
Larry_LCFC Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 I saw those earlier. Considering the absolute shit that we sell in there, some people have more money than sense. Gonna be a pain in the arse to get a new shirt for next season.
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 3 May 2016 Author Posted 3 May 2016 Does that mean no concourse sale this year? Always the Fox & Crap stuff that never sells, and the LCFC official after shave. anyone been on lcfcdirect? only womens, some tatty shit and a couple of childrens bits in stock.
promised land Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Gonna be a pain in the arse to get a new shirt for next season. Someone must've thought about this, "we are champions boss, so let's order a few more shirts." More of a concern is if they have enough gold premier league patches. Seems a bit odd that no one fancied a football! Can you buy them? I thought they were stuck to that Astro turf.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 I saw those earlier. Considering the absolute shit that we sell in there, some people have more money than sense. Gonna be a pain in the arse to get a new shirt for next season. This was my thought, plus I'm wondering how many people will have a City shirt who've never actually been to a game.
StanSP Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 not sure that's entirely true. It was barely stocked up for the Swansea game. I reckon they've removed a lot of stuff to go in to a sale or to make way for the new kit which will be coming in soon.
NeilLCFC Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 No end of season sale, struggle to get next seasons top, these are the things we have to get used to now. I hope this being big time stuff is as good as it's meant to be.
CORNFOX68 Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Its been virtually empty of kits, training gear etc for weeks apparently they had people buying 3xl shirts because it was all they had left even though they were massive on them
Brendonbl Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 As magic as the season is, that is pretty pathetic. I don't care how surprising the season has been, how great the demand, you need to react. As well as disappointing customers, you are losing revenue.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 I went in yesterday to get a champions t-shirt and flag. It was full of people desperately looking to spend money but with literally nothing decent left on the shelves! People were buying packs of golf tees and flasks just so they weren't empty handed! In fairness the kit section has been cleared for the new kit tomorrow but the Fox and Crop section was still massively overstocked as usual!
EastAnglianFox Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Expect to see many of the items on EBay later this week at about 100x it's real value!
foxy boxing Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 i'd imagine the club shops in thailand are being emptied as well as everyone there and around the world get their hands on leicester city merchandise, well be able to spot them everywhere now
Mythyaar Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Very disappointing. Was hoping to buy some poor quality over priced merchandise for my son on Saturday
Fox_in_a_Box Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 I'm gonna be extremely pissed off if when I go to pick up next seasons shirt 2moro after work theirs nothing left. season ticket holders and past history should be given priority.
Larry_LCFC Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 You'd like to think the club have ordered 1000s of extra new shirts. If they haven't, they're stupid.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 If our new shirt is a proper Puma one, will they stock them in Puma shops around the world do you think? Or only be available through the club?

I hope this being big time stuff is as good as it's meant to be. The only people missing out on shirts this season are the ones that decided to buy one as soon as we were doing well. Before Christmas there was absolutely no problem getting them. I'm not sure why so many people are getting worked up over the lack of shirts when they could have just bought one in the first half of the season. I honestly don't know what people are worrying about, there's going to be no issue getting the new shirt as long as you aren't waiting until it looks like we might win the league before deciding to get one again.

Washed it twice, puma logos started to peel and turn green, good times.
MrSpaM Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 I remember when i bought mine in June. Washed it twice, puma logos started to peel and turn green, good times. Maybe try washing your shirts on a lower temperature? and clean your washing machine?
possiblygeorge Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Maybe try washing your shirts on a lower temperature? and clean your washing machine? i hand wash it, like it says to and inside out too
Jace Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 I would be very surprised if it didn't happen again, I know they've banged on about how they couldn't have predicted what has happened this season but it was happening last season too when we were bottom of the league
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Was empty on Tuesday when I was down there, couldn't find any flags, shirts or banners... nothing decent anyway
