Never happening. Thats probably just his agents stirring up false interest because they know Benteke is out the door at Liverpool in the summer for being...garbage.

At a price he would be OK ass a squad option , he never caused any problems at villa or Liverpool and seems a very hard working guy

Exactly they type of man that would fit in well

At a good price he could be a shrewd buy

A lot less than Liverpool paid, yeah. Whether they'd be willing to make a loss of over 20+ million though...

Personally think he would be a good signing. We're quite a cross oreinated side in terms of using the wings, so he could be perfect for Albrighton crosses for instance. I do think if he can come into form he would score goals for us.

He's also never caused any defences a problem so far at Liverpool. No chance as Liverpool won't want to lose too much money on the deal and there is no way he'll come in on lower wages, wages that our players aren't on yet but deserve.

Great in the air, but his footwork can be bad for this level.

Unlike  velcro-footed Ulloa, of course....

Not being funny but he would be a major dissapointment. Wouldn't want to pay any £ for any non-starting Premier League player thats so obviously overpriced.

We've got to take this guy, he's not been getting the service up at Liverpool but if we could get the form out of him like when he was at Villa then we'd certainly have a great partnership up front.

I'd definitely take him, 115 premier games and 50 goals.

He virtually kept villa up on his own whilst he was there and is a big upgrade on ulloa goal wise.

With the four competitions next season he could get us 15 plus goals quite easily over the course of the season.

Players like this though, will need to fit into our ethos and ongoing project.

Absolute beast on form would take him no question. At his best running from deep onto crosses so not sure about this talk of not suiting our style of play he will just be a slight variation on how we play.

I don't think it's so much of him not suiting our attacking play, I think it's the defensive side and work rate side of his game that is being questioned for some of us.

Would take him, yeah. Scored the goals for Villa - albeit in a bad side - he hasn't had a great run at Liverpool.

He's a proven goalscorer at PL level, which is why I am drawn to the signing. If we can get all the negotiations right, he could be a smart addition for me.

Dilly ding dilly dong, we're champions league man.

Don't need someone who's shite for Lolerpool.

Would be a great signing for our alternative attack.

Guy knows how to score given the opportunity.

Indeed, streets ahead of his name is Leonardo and as he's out the door possibly come whatever won't be that much more than what we paid for him in the end.
