Always rated Mata and his attitude is spot-on. Think Man U paid around 40 mil for him though so he won't be cheap

Won't fit in here Mourinho didn't rate him at Chelsea because he doesn't work hard enough.

FC Barcelona want to sell - I can't understand why. And I'm sure we can outdo Valencia in a bidding war.

 

The problem with dealing with the Spanish giants is their shithouse transfer tactics.

 

They'll sell a talented young player with a buy back clause and if he's a success buy him from you and sell to another club at a profit. It's lose/lose because if he fails they let you keep him and if he isn't they buy him back at under market value.Just look at Morata and Real Madrid.

No guarantee that he's going to Man Utd, as rumoured by some media.

Getting on a bit now and perhaps wage demands are excessive, but was always his 'dream' to play in the PL.

Alongside Vardy, he can pose more of a threat than Okazaki and Ulloa.

We need a defensively solid RB to compete with/take the place of Simpson.

I'm ok with wasilewski as cover for Huth and Morgan.

I'd like to see another winger and a striker. Now if The Ox and Gianluca Lapadula are the club's choices then I'm all for it.

I'm not going to sit here and judge anyone who comes in. I just don't want to see anyone go out...well maybe Yohan Benalouane and Richie De Laet but that's it.

 

Wasilewski is not Premier or Champions league material. We have to upgrade at centre back as well as adding some insurance for Danny Simpson

I'd keep Wasilewski, but only as 4th choice center back. Hopefully we sign Dragovic, to rotate with Wes/Huth. Wasil's been an important part of the dressing room for the past 3 seasons and with his experience I think he has another year left in him.

Man City played most of the season with Demecheillis who, Wasilewski is arguably superior to. And our CB's aren't as injury prone as Man City's, so its not like Wasil will be playing as many games as Demecheillis.

He's worth keeping in the squad for another year, IMO.

I know everyone is still high on winning the league but this is without a doubt the most important transfer window in the history of the club. With Manchester United getting Mou, Liverpool to get stronger with new seasons and a full season and camp under Klopp, Man City with Pep, Chelsea getting ready to splurge to get back into the top 4. The club is at a pivotal moment in our history, we need 4-5 quality signings, we can't afford any mistakes. We either solidify our position as a club vying for top 4 or fall back into mid/bottom table obscurity. I really hope we get something done soon to signal intent to the market and let people know what we are trying to achieve as a club. It will make it easier to attract top talent in as I said the most important transfer window in our history.

Age-issue aside, that's very harsh on a guy with previous Champions League, Europa League and UEFA Cup experience.

Wasyl played 4 games this season and looked first team quality in arguably all of them minus a brainfart at Arsenal. The guy is good for cover for 6-10 games if needs be, plus he is useful to have for cup games. He has been a massive part of the dressing room. Personally would like to see him stay on for another year, he is liked by all members of the team and is settled in would be useful to have in the dressing room as well considering the experience he's already had in Europe as well.

Wasyl is out of contract so depends if we renew. All sentiment aside, I feel it's time to replace him

According to Dutch people I've seen, since his injury a few years ago he has never looked the same player. Can't get in the Ajax team anymore. Might do well for Boro who knows.

TWO fast goalscoring forwards please so we have alternatives to the Vardy Okazaki/Ulloa combo ....    we have been sooo lucky with injuries and can't assume that for next season especially with more games to play .....     and I want to win the FA cup now !

We have Huth, Morgan & Hernandez if reports are to be believed.

 

If we are in the market for a centre half like Dragovic then Wasilewski won't be worth his corn as 5th choice. If we aren't then I'm happy enough to have Was as 4th choice as he didn't let anyone down last season and still looked very fit when he played even though he wasn't getting regular games.

Realistically we need two first team type players for each position. If you are not confident enough in your back-up to play 30+ games then we need someone else. It terrified me last season that we had no real cover for Kasper
