I've seen something that said the main Russian hooligans travelled to Marseille to make their impression and then flew home. Not sure if they'll be following Russia around. The ones with tickets are bad enough though.

In my experience going abroad, people internationally recognise the difference between the British nations more than you imagine and we've got different stereotypes just as much as here.

Just look at the French singing and partying with the Welsh en masse, you didn't have that in Marseille even before the Russians turned up.

I remember my sister going to Canada as a kid (literally about 14) and her friend she was visiting had an Argentine dad. He wouldn't let her in the house when he thought she was English. Changed his tune entirely when he found out she was Welsh.

It might suck for you guys but the reputation you have doesn't follow us, the jocks or the Irish in the same way.

I'll be amazed if the Russkis give a flying **** about proving Welsh "hooligans" are girls.
