The phrase seems to be throw around at pretty much anyone we are linked with, either they are not good enough or they are over-rated...

Not the right type of signing for me. Always been a class act for me. During his time at Chelsea they had Essien, Makalele and Lampard and Arsenal had Fabregas and Gilberto Silva. Going to be difficult displacing those guys. Think despite his age he would be a good signing.

We've hustled, harried, won second balls, got forward quickly, defended as a unit because of this energy in the central area. Diarra, though good in himself, I don't think would 'fit' this way of playing. Useful for experience though.

I'd be surprised if a bloke who's played only half the games this season for Marseille gets into a French midfield containing Pogba, Kante and Matuidi. He could do if they play three in the midfield I guess but Cabaye and Schneiderlin will be sniffing about too. I'm unsure. He's been out half this season for Marseille who aren't a good side in a pretty poor division. I think we can do better personally.
