Looking at those poor guys lying in polls of blood on the floor of the Battaclan they don't really look like winners unfortunately, no glory in dying like this. Neither did the guys on Sword Beach, or the poor sods caught in their home as an air raid started and got unlucky. But they are remembered now because the overall fight was won. You're right in that there's no glory in dying like that, and war is utterly shit. But you keep going, and you avenge them by not letting the ideological twatbeards affect your life.

Their aim is not to kill you or me or anyone else, their aim is to create fear and panic to provoke governments into doing what they want. One thing i would say is ISIS operate on the element of surprise, i dont think any one is going to be surprised if it kicks off..........unless that is of course there is something spectacular.
