Ulloa to Swansea

The Telegraph reckon he's en route to Swansea right now.

Bit gutted as I love Leo but if we make a profit then that's decent business I suppose.

Shame we've already played Swansea at home as now Leo will have to wait until next season to get the hero's welcome he absolutely deserves when he returns to the KP. I'd like to think he'd get a great reception.

It's at the start of their transfer deadline day coverage. Or at least it was at about 7 this morning.

Sad but he'll need to move on to get regular 1st team football - fair play to him.

On an awful aside, there's a certain inbound player who will likely want his shirt number too if today's double swoop comes off.

That will save us having to make a new song up....

Would have been nice to say goodbye to Leo properly, been part of some great times here.

Leo can leave with his head held high. Scored some vital goals, worked hard and always been professional and is more than good enough for the sides he's linked with. As odd as it sounds, he's been a bit of a victim of our success because if, as we expected when promoted, we were a side in the lower end of midtable, he'd probably be one of the first names on the teamsheet.

As it is, for a side playing in the Champions League, he doesn't quite cut the mustard at the highest level and Slimani, a player of a calibre we wouldn't have had a hope of signing without European football, represents an upgrade.

That said, I doubt Ulloa will leave too disappointed with a Premier League winners' medal he could never have expected to win and will likely be a mainstay at either Sunderland or Swansea.

Best of luck.

I hope he doesn't leave.  But I can't see him getting a lot of game time if Slimani signs, so I wont hold it against him.

I think you're probably right.

He's already behind Vardy, Musa and Okazaki - he now has Slimani to compete with, whose game is similar but more developed.

He'll do well at Sunderland.

Perfect style for him and just what they need.

Wouldn't be surprised if he did move to West Brom, considering either Berahino doesn't want him to play or Pulls doesn't want to play much.

Bet Berahino hopes he can move now after his ongoing fiasco. lol

Probably the right time for him to go.

Scored some massive goals for us of course and I've grown to love him.

We should paint his face over Kante on the mural.

West Brom could make a late bid according to Percy

Apparently they have made a bid £3.5 million
