Not happening, but Ulloa moving on is very much on

Leo is our plan B. We have no other that can fill that role in defence as well as attack. if we sell a tried and trusted established player and replace with another without PL experience who subsequently requires a lengthy adjustment period then we lose plan B. Personally I find that quite worrying with the series of matches coming up in the next few months.

Islam is a big lad who can use his head, sure it will work out OK.

:( Don't go Leo

Scored some pretty iconic goals. Our first back in the Prem, vital last minute goals against Norwich and West Ham last year. Plus we won't get to sing our best chant anymore.

Always rated him, always scored regularly when given game time. We shouldn't hold his career back though, so good luck to him wherever he goes.

All the best to him, if he is indeed leaving us.

May he go to a club where he can start, score goals and hopefully play well every week but when he plays the Foxes, if he plays us at all!

When did you start supporting us?

You know what I mean, it's late :P

Haha yeah I too will be sad to see him go, rationally it makes sense but like you say, those moments plus the equaliser v Arsenal in the sun, making it 1-2 vs United in the famous game, pretty much in tears after scoring the West Ham penalty, he's someone you'd like around for years if possible.

The bottle he showed to score that West Ham penalty shall never be forgotten. The whole world was watching it and the title was on the line. Ulloa has more bottle than the entire Arsenal squad combined.

If we sold Shinji to make way for Messi I would burn the stadium down.

Ulloa will go down as a club legend. He can go wherever he wants as far as I'm concerned, I'll welcome him if/when he returns, regardless of who he plays for.

Sad to see him go if he does indeed leave, he still has plenty to offer. A 10-15 goal a season regular striker in the prem at a half decent side.

I get quite emotional at the thought of Ulloa leaving. He  played a big part in getting us to the prem, scored some vital goals, Can't fault his attitude, his effort for a big fella and a smile only rivaled by Shinji.

Be great if Ulloa stays until Jan but realistically.. I would have Vardy, Slimani, Musa and Shinji all starting ahead of him. I guess if we are going to be using Musa as a winger then technically he will still get a handful of starts and some sub appearances. He is a very useful player and rarely lets you down as he will always put the effort in. Would prefer to keep him but would totally understand if he wanted to go somewhere where he is likely to start or at least be 3rd choice and get more game time. Slap 15million price tag on him and I am sure he will go for that. We also have a number of attacking players like Schlupp, Gray and Kaputska so we could even play 1 upfront, so doubt we will ever be short of options if he does go.

If I was Claudio though, I would hope he fails in a late move and we can have him as another option and he can then get his move in January with our blessing!

Would hate to see Leo go. His goals in the early part of our first season back were crucial in getting us off to a good start before our extended mid-season slump. Then there's his vital goals vs Norwich and West Ham last year. You can see how much it means to him to score every time he does so. His personality fits with the club too. Hard-working but still humble. Fuch :(

And I'd hate to see him play against us. Remember the last time he did?

Sorry If this has been posted elsewhere, apparently Leo refused to play for the Under 23s in the cup yesterday. My guess would be that he didnt want to risk getting injured and scuppering a move.

I hope not :(

Surely we would need him for cover when afcon is on

And for the League and FA Cups... or if Slimani gets injured.

At least wait until January... if we're still in the League Cup, if we get a favourable draw for the CL knockout stage, then keep him until the summer.

Albert said he wasn't even asked to play a couple of pages ago. So think of it what you will.

Best Chant in My 25 years going down the city He did his best , proper team player , a warrior

I'll be sad to see him go , saw him on London road 2 weeks ago walking his young family and his wife into town, little one in a buggy

I said "hola"  and he stuck his hand out straight away shook my hand  and smiled , lovely man

West Ham will live with me forever !

if he goes I hope he has huge success

Sad but he'll need to move on to get regular 1st team football - fair play to him.

On an awful aside, there's a certain inbound player who will likely want his shirt number too if today's double swoop comes off.
