Glad he's stayed with us. Unfortunately can't see him getting much game time now. He has looked decent though lately.

Why the hell are you glad he's stayed. He won't even make the bench now. The club have messed with the poor guy in this window and now he won't even play.

He's got a decent song tbf

What's the point of keeping Ulloa if he won't get any minutes? Other than sentimentality? He will be what Inler was last season. For his own career he should have forced a move.

Sunderland have submitted a deal sheet for an as yet unnamed player.

Hopefully not Leo!

That's ridiculous, why leave it so late to do business.

Unprofessional and just plain shithouse.

Injury to Slimani and we have no aerial threat or that option for plan B. He will also get games in the Cup too and we know he is capable of coming on and having an impact with 10mins to go, so although I think he will go in January if we don't have any issues with injuries, I certainly think in these early stages with us being in so many competitions, he will get more minutes than Inler did. Useful to have around for now. Same as Schlupp.

Maybe I am totally off-base here, but Ulloa / Silmani / Musa late in games sounds deadly, as does Shinji / Vardy / Musa, as does Shinji / Vardy / Silmani...

TBF we have no clue as to how it could be worked out but I don't expect him to be cast off. Ulloa will be playing and starting a game a week now, with all of our cups.

It's possible Ulloa will be 4th choice if we move Musa to the wing.

I doubt that'll happen as it'll mean less game time for Demarai Gray & Kaputska. Tbh Leo will just not get any game time at all. A shame really, he's been a good servant to the club.

Maybe he wanted to stay and fight for his place in the champions team that are playing in the European cup?

Maybe he's been around long enough in football to know every season is a long season and things can change overnight as players fall out of favour for whatever reason and things can also change with injuries and suspensions.

I for one am glad he is staying and I think he will still have a part to play.

Plus he has the best song out of all the players.

And....he cost a fooking fortune! ( Don't make much sense now!)

Maybe he'll go out on loan to a championship  when the window opens next week. Possibly Derby after Chris Martin joined Fulham.

thought they'd got rid of the loan window?

My mistake you're right they have.

Can't see Leo getting many minutes now unfortunately.

to tell u the truth, who ever is in  charge of are ins/ and outs, is f***ing useless, and before people jump down my throat, i know there is a lot to the process, but whoever is doing it is been paid to get it done, not to leave it to the last f***ing minute. Chelsea got theirs done quick as, if silva had gonr through i think are season could have been a gret one now think we will struggle with all the extra games.

Yeah it's not like they signed 2 defenders on deadline day is it?

Do you really think that this one non-signing is the difference between a great and a struggling season?  Come on now.  We'll be fine.  Remember when we didn't get a striker in January and that cost us the title?

And by the way, we got a lot of business done (relatively) very early in the window.

I think we have had a very good transfer window.

It seems like we've been negotiating for Slimani all summer. Not necessarily our fault.

Chelsea splashed £50+ mil on deadline day, dunno what you're on about. I'm guessing you're either a pessimist with a weak ticker tocker or a troll.

ur 100% right we did get a lot done, but we seemed to miss the midfield and right back areas, and we seemed to buy more wing backs than anything, just think we could have just done a little better, just on, the fact we have the champions league to content with, that is my real point.

I can't believe we've been so determined to keep Schlupp and Ulloa considering the amount of players we have in their position now, we'll never be offered what we did for Schlupp again.

What a ridiculous comment. I think it's been a great window. Massively strengthened our attacking options, goalkeeper, an experienced CB/RB cover and Mendy to replace Kante. With Amartey now ready to start, we now have two decent options there.

Also so we kept hold of every title winning player, bar Kante who was always going to leave.

Did is you not notice that Chelsea spent over £50m yesterday on defenders? Obviously passed you by.

It's pretty clear from his refusal to play in the Checkatrade he wants to play first team league football. There's every chance the extra games in the cup is going to = one 90 minutes against Chelsea anyway, and four is enough to rotate in the CL and PL, he's not going to get a look in barring injury's. He should of been moved on really but it's not so much a club problem as it is his problem I guess, we've clearly got some spare cash given we were trying to negotiate a second 30 million pound transfer yesterday so he's wage on the books for another few months is far from critical and he is always there just in case. Bit shit to be him though.

Ironically it's in January that he could actually get more of a look in again as Slimani will be off to the AFCON.

There you go then good job we kept him ! ....   :).     Maybe he will go but in the meantime we do have a lot of games and we need cover all over the park ...   oh, and lets see just how good Slimani is first and hope he doesn't get injured.

I've seen plenty of Slimani to know he is capable of scoring goals in this division, it is just an adaptation thing, as as we all know those who look excellent outside the PL sometimes look like utter tripe in it.
