bald reynard Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Telegraph reporting that Swansea are to make a £10m bid for Leo.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Interesting team for him! I think I'd sell for that price - think we need an upgrade on Leo as a hold-up man
Poznan34 Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Tough one. If we are signing this Luan guy he might not play as much. 30 later this month.
MPH Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Heart says keep , head says good luck to him and hope he nails down a regular starting spot.
Nick Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 I think we'll want 5 strikers for next season so I'm not sure we'll entertain this.
dorsetboy Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 for me and for 10 million then it has to be a yes and pay the extra 15 and bring in slimani -------------------------------vardy-------------------------------- -------------------------------slimani------------------------------- musa----------mendy------------------drinky----------------mahrez oooooooooooooooooooooooofffffffffffffffffffffff
SemperEadem Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Some degree of truth in it if it's coming from John Percy.
Wymsey Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Don't mind either way. Have we got any decent academy strikers that have potential to be as good as the current crop?
Soar Fox Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Don't sell. He offers the team something different and can change the way we play.
Babylon Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Turning 30 any day, it's tempting... but we need someone like him as another option. Good pro, good finisher.
AyewJoking Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 10 million is good business considering he could be worth less than half that by january if he isnt getting a look in here. off topic, has nathan dyer returned to swansea now?
st albans fox Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 I was impressed with his application latter part of last season but quite honestly, if we have designs on being a team challenging for European spots and regular top 4 PL finishes then we need an upgrade on him.
ajthefox Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 No thank you. If Ulloa played week in week out he would be getting 10-15 goals so he is worth more than that. More importantly, he played a vital role in our title win and he still has a role to play here. We need options because pace pace pace won't always work, and Leo gives us a different option.
Beliall Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Keep him. He's a good squad player and will get more starts this year
kingcarr21 Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Don't go Leo. I would rather keep him he can offer an alternative if things aren't going for us. If his value halves in 6 months then so be it. We don't need the money. I don't want to see any of our title winning players leave the club
RowlattsFox Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 I like him but not against cashing in. He'll want more game time.
Strokes Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Hope not, £10 million is chicken feed for a proven premier league goal scorer.
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Not a chance for £10m. I said this last year and again now. Who would we replace him with for £10m as a better target man who's happy to rotate and not start every game? He's superb at what he does and underrated by so many. Unless we went and spent £20-25m on a significant upgrade and someone to start every game alongside Vardy I wouldn't even considering accepting.
Webbo Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 £10 million isn't bad money but if he goes we'll need someone similar. From a silly, emotional sense I hope we keep him.
Gerard Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 I'd rather sell Okazaki as Ulloa offers more of a predatory goal threat. £10m+ is good business though for a 30 year old squad player considering we bought 23 year old Musa for £16.5m who is expected to go straight in the first team.
