Leicesterfarian Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 My mate works for the express and he's said there are rumblings around the office that Shakey could be joining the England set up. Not sure if it's full time or part time like what Gary Neville did.
FoxesFourLife Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 Wouldn't need to be full time if he's coaching just in the international breaks could work, fair play to him he deserves it.
Fox seen in Norwich Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 Would help drinkwater and a few others.. Gray and Albrighton?
Racingfox Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 If correct big Sam looks like the manager we have been waiting for since Sir Bobby retired
Stevosevic Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 He can do it part time so shouldn't be a problem for us
st albans fox Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 As long as it's ala Gary Neville and not Ray Lewington
mozartfox Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 Great. We select some of the Young French Players he has scouted.
AjcW Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 Hmmmm it should in theory be part time, but Bayern blocked Paul Clements move today which makes you think it could be full time. Really Big Sam can have two Assistants, Sammy Lee full time and A N Other for the International Breaks and Summer.
Sampson Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 Isn't Steve Beaglehole also part of the Northern Ireland set-up? So no reason he couldn't do both.
Babylon Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 It's in the papers tomorrow. Says Clement was only wanted part time, so presume CS would be also.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 Was Shakey involved with Big Sam at Newcastle when Nige was there?
Danizen Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 Did Shakespeare work under Allardyce when he was at Newcastle?
Dan Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 When Allardyce was at Newcastle did Shakespeare work under him?
Jimothy Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 During Allardyce's time as Newcastle manager, was Shakespeare a coach?

sylofox Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 has Shakey n big fat Sam ever worked together parps at Newcastle.
Babylon Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 Shakey met Pearson at West Brom, he's wasn't at Newcastle.
Captain... Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 Different situation to Paul Clement, the demands and distractions on someone who doesn't work in the premier league would be much greater than on Shakespeare who watches the players week in week out, works with some of them and has worked with others and doesn't have far to travel for England get togethers.
foxy boxing Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 so not only have we helped spice up the premier league, now our staff are being asked by England to help make them a force in world football.they all want to know that winning formula?

Babylon Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 Notice he's pretty much the only person not in the squad shot with the owners.
st albans fox Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 I'm sure there is nothing in it but shakey isn't in the photo with the owners yesterday? guess we'll know shortly when training starts
Guest Col city fan Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 Thank God it's not Gary Neville! Shaky is clearly very well respected in the footballing fraternity
Cat Burger Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 Leicester to Burton is pretty manageable if he were to be doing it part time! If a player can go on international duty so can a coach.
