Guest the fox Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 choose any striker and CDM that you like to have in the club (realistically) -for the ST position. i think the best available one is slimani. big.strong. and can win alot of headers. i think he is the one we need. we looked too one dimensional today. so a player like him will do the job - and CDM (this is a tricky one). i think we missed on wanyama and idrissa gueye (the second most in interceptions behind kanté last season). so the best one right now is diarra and coquelin ( if arsenal want to sell). we can also go for schneiderlin. or allen from napoli.

Guest CityFan 06 Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 I personally do not think we are desperate for a central midfielder - We've got Amartey, King, Drinkwater, James (when fit), Mendy & Kapustka. I feel there's adequate enough options there. Whereas I do still think we need another striker - Loic Remy maybe? It's always at the back of my mind that we need that fifth striker.

Also for me Musa isn't a striker and should be played on the left and gray isn't a left winger and looks transformed playing on the right when he rarely does. Also sounds like we're after a centre back and Hernandez will be moved to right back. Massive shame we lost against an average team with so many injuries

We look really unbalanced squad wise. We have a lot of attacking options but there all much of a muchness very similar or don't fit the formation. I think if he plays gray mahrez musa and vardy we can't play as a 442. Be more suited with 4231 with gray right wing and musa left wing and mahrez floating . We need different options . Big mobile striker to get get flickons and play off them. Also some that's going to get on the end of crosses from musa albrighton mahrez Gray and polish lad. As for midfielder we need a powerful runner dominate force. We lack a lot of height especially when we play with mendy drinky musa Gray mahrez. We really could get beaten by a set piece side like palace wba and even Watford

We should have been straight in for him aswell as mendy.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Mentioned throughout the summer that Benteke would be a smart signing, and I'd be delighted with him. It'd be potentially difficult to accommodate five strikers but that's how many we need IMO, gives us a wealth of forward options. Slimani too I'd be very happy with.
