So I'm not surprised if they're isn't any news as who's gonna know who our medical team is? Other medical teams would know by instinct, unless we've managed to smuggle them in inside a horse. Ordinary people wouldn't know, if they're disguised in the appropriate way, like nuns or binmen.

I just think we would be hearing a lot more about this one if anything was happening. Hope I'm wrong though! Oh, we've had our problems with unsatisfied captains back in the day. Pretty sure we're not going to make the mistake of keeping an unhappy captain again, only to watch him play terrible football for one year and then be transfered for half the current value!
Lesteban Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 Sky just said Slimani has passed his medical. Edit: Oops, wrong thread.

iLikeFoxes Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 No reliable source has said we have met the release clause yet.I've seen one but would feel more comfortable to see a second independent source. ESPN FC is a fine source.Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 I think at this late stage Sporting are likely to pull our pants down over any fee. Perhaps best to walk away as they hold all the cards. I feel they've done well already over Slim so wouldn't want to be overpaying again.

Babylon Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 Tanner is just guessing based on there being little news.

Stevosevic Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 I think it's unlikely but Tanner and the Mercury know very very little
Koke Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 I know he's off to Bournemouth but I personally think Wilshire would have been worth a punt for a season. He works hard and he gets stuck in and he's got great technique and passing. We could get him fit.

He was only ever likely to go to a lower Prem team or abroad. Wouldn't be surprised if we made a cheeky phonecall though and were told this. Would have been great here if he could stay fit. IF.
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 Lets not let the outcome of this transfer deflate the joy of getting Slim Shady.
ithuriel Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 I've been reading the tea leafs and they say Spurs ha ha ha, hmm I knew I should not have gone for the cheap brand tea bags.
FoxinNotts Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 We've probably lined this one up for January. I guess we'll just have to keep Drinking fit!
Lesteban Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 We surely won't be panic buying some sub-standard midfielder if this doesn't go ahead. There is every chance the club is still focused on this deal. The mercury rarely know much, as has been suggested above.
