Algeria will watch this one...even if other Algerian player are involved elsewhere. ..but the attraction of slimani and mahrez playing toghether is nearly as good as watching the national DZ team.

They have to deliver...they just have to and they will.

I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if Slimani starts - it depends how he's trained this week and if Claudio reckons he can walk straight into the style of play....

Okazaki has arguably earns the right to start a CL game and can't see anything else but CR picking him to be on the pitch for the first 45.

If we've score three by half time I can see Vardy, Mahrez and maybe even Drinks being rested for King and maybe Kaputska, Slim, or Musa getting a run out in their true positions.

I don't think many of our squad/bench players will get football until the cups or having a big lead in the Prem or CL games.

Does anybody know if Mendy is still crocked?

I (think) I love the way some are being so blaise about beating a Champions League side away from home in our first game ever in the competition. I am going to rain on some parades because I genuinely think a point is a good result tonight. European football is a different beast and Manchester United and Manchester City had fantastic domestic sides and struggled to crack it for a good few years. Don't get me wrong, I fancy us to get a couple of wins at home but I am not so cocky about games away from home, especially when we have already lost at Hull and got tonked at Liverpool

Would like to see Slimani and Musa involved tonight. If we get at them and dictate the pace I think we'll have too much for them.

Ah who cares I'll be too shit faced on St Bernardus to have a clue what's going on in the game lol

I think you may end up being disappointed there

I'm not suggesting that will be the case. I'm simply replying to the scenario of various players getting a game.

I for one are not looking forward to this. We may have done well playing like we did last season but this season, things have not gone so well.

Celtic ripped apart Rangers last week then got ripped apart by Barca last night.

The whole Euro thing is another cup of tea from our domestic leagues.

We should just enjoy the moment, but don't put your mortgage on a result.

Fingers crossed for tonight.

Both feet on the ground though.

We hope so, eventhough Slimani needs time to adapt to a new club, new style of play and new teammates.

I'd stick to 4-4-2 tonight, wanting to change formation after Liverpool is a pure knee-jerk reaction, 4-4-2 will work in some games, in other games we'll probably need a change. Against Brugge I wouldn't change much, maybe a few changes in personnel but not a formation change. Brugge haven't had a great start themselves this season, their squad is basically low Premier League standard.

Schmeichel

Albrighton - Morgan - Huth - Fuchs

Mahrez - Amartey - Drinkwater - Kapustka

Slimani - Vardy

Subs - Zieler, Wasilewski, Hernandez, King, Gray, Musa, Okazaki

Albrighton at RB because I don't trust Hernandez, Albrighton delivered at RWB two season's ago anyway. I want to see Kapustka given a shot, he has a goal in him. I'd go all out and start Slimani as well, show we mean business.

Quite a difference between barca and Brugge lad

Also quite a difference between Leicester and Celtic imo

A little off topic but a group of us are travelling into Leicester this evening to watch the game, can anyone suggest the best atmosphere/liveliest pub in and around the centre or ground.

Thanks
