The club really have fooked up in terms of midfield options, it would appear. If Drinkwater is out, we're in trouble I guess?

Drinkwater is training fine and will play. Mendy got a slight knock when returning to training and will be fit within 2 weeks it's nothing of major concern.
st albans fox Posted 13 October 2016 Posted 13 October 2016 I wonder if the talk of drinkys injury is to make sure that people don't think his withdrawal from the England camp was opportunistic given the amount he had played? mendy will need several weeks to get up to match fitness. amartey played twice on int duty we are pretty well struggling to field a decent (awake) midfield three if we want to go defensive on Saturday! beyond that and seems possible that mendys full first team return could be after the next international break
