Ted Maul Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Bloody hell, some of the negativity on here... Yeah we were dreadful against United and Liverpool, but we're 12th in the PL and we've won both CL games. I think it's obvious that 4-4-2 isn't the answer today, but we don't have many other solutions due to our summer business and injury. Whilst Claudio hasn't been the tactical genius he was last season so far, it isn't time to question our most successful manager ever.
Wymsey Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 The team will be fine imo. Most of it is a league-winning team for goodness sake, and if Chelsea squander a few opportunities early in the game, it could suit us as they could leave some holes at the back.
foxfan92 Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 We'll be fine. Lawro has predicted us to lose. Looks like Fabregas isn't going to be playing and they've not looked as good in midfield IMO without him.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Just please no 4-4-2. Whatever gets said pre match the players will be sub consciously saving themselves for Tuesday.
justfoxes Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Come on you Beauties, Leicester's going to win this one Vardy and Slimani for the winner going to be 1-2 to the champions I'm sure Huth will have a nice Hello for Kante and Rachel is back so good luck for our lads !!

the fox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 And that is why mahrez is wasted..... And people say he is a a liability on defence. compared to a player that is on the ball all the time. He is only 3 chances created behind him but playing almost as a RWB. He is truly wasted right now
foxfan92 Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 I think he gets a lot of unfair criticism. It's up to the rest of the team to take advantage of the opposition players he draws with him when he gets forward. Hes still creating chances in a lot of games - seen some faboulos balls into the box and a number of moments of magic. He is also getting back more. That might blunt his attacks a little but if he can master both roles in a game we're in dreamland.
Deucalion Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Kind of just expect to concede four before away games this year.
foxfan92 Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 No match thread yet. Just seen line up. Vardy and Musa up front and not Mahrez
CloudFox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 So looks like a 4-4-2 with Schlupp in for Mahrez and Musa in for Slimani. Not sure I like that...
sdb Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Strange team. Think Simpson would deal with hazard better. Shinji should be starting given his role and league cup performance.

CloudFox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Guessing Chelsea will use Kante as more box to box this match, as it's him and Matic in the middle.

Staffs Fox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Really not sure about this, i know the CL is a unique opportunity for us but playing a weaker side as the defending champions must be unheard of

Jesus, more Rachel Riley pics! Broke my concentration during the man ure game last time which I was thankful for. Better result today. 1-1
m4DD0gg Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 That team Going for pace, shame Terry is on the bench.
EnglishOxide Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 This lineup could be a smart move. If we play with a lot of width and pace, we reduce the amounts of midfield battling, and therefore lessen the impact of Kante. Jeff/Musa/Vardy/Albrighton can really drive their full backs backwards.
