In the words of many characters set to die in movies, "I have a bad feeling about this..."

I hope I'm wrong, because 7:30am is kind of early to have your Saturday start off on the wrong foot. Shout out to my West Coast Foxes looking at a 4:30 AM start.

Embarrassment of a fan? Really? Well I apologise for not accepting mediocrity after last season. The pre-season and the season so far has not been good enough......we're letting ourselves down due to poor recruitment and piss poor preparation following last season, what the **** is happening with Musa? Mendy may as well be called Nampalys Broken and apparently Kaputska isn't even good enough for the U23.......I love Claudio but I'm starting to have real concerns about him this season. We can't afford another hammering, yet so far we've been appalling away from home.

So just what are you trying to say.

We've only played seven league games out of 38 so far, and there's hardly a trend to be recognized because we haven't been able to see a fully-fit squad yet. The injury to Mendy was very unfortunate and the length of his sideline spell, too. I don't see how you can criticize Musa when he's not playing that regularly. We've got our formation that accomodates Vardy (due to past   heroics) and Slimani (who works best with Mahrez, who is another given in our starting line-up). Kapustka's only 19 years old and still has plenty of time to adapt to the game and to make his way into the first team.

As for doubts about Ranieri, he's working with what he's got. Whether the lack of additional signings in midfield and defense was down to him, we'll probably never know. I personally think it's way too early to have massive concerns. We were never expected to repeat last season's success, so where we find ourselves now is probably where we ought to be in terms of overall strength, individual skill and the league competition. Although I'd fancy us pushing for a Europa League spot.

We'll ship another 4 today... Can't see what's changed from the Liverpool and United games.. Our midfield options are non existent!... Worrying times.

We have been shit away - agreed - but you have conveniently avoided my point that I we have no midfielders up to the task other than Drinkwater.

That is something I would not blame on Claudio as he is the Coach, when as I understand it we specially have a recruitment department and a Director of football for that task.

Last week CR came out and said that the work rate this season away from home, specifically from the forwards and wide midfielders had not been good enough in terms of helping the two in the middle. That is something I have seen with my own eyes.

Vardy was hooked against Southampton because of it, and Mahrez has certainly been given an easy time considering his work rate in the first 5 or 6 league games.

Well if you are that sure 4 or more goals is 7/1 with betfair

We have to change our system for this one, learn from our recent poor away results in the league and strengthen our midfield, so King has to start as he's the only option at the expense of Albrighton, defend well and hit them on the break, hopefully Musa and Gray (if they're both in the squad) can come on in the second half and take advantage of some tiring legs.

We will get rolled over, easily. I'm predicting 6-0 maybe an even worse score line or 7 or 8. Our back four is horrible, and if these are up for it then we're in serious trouble. Ranieri will set up a 4-4-2 with the same old names. Maybe a proper good stuffing will wake him up.

For real???

6,7,8-0????

We're not Fecking Sunderland or West Ham.

Sure we got hammered but by clubs who will be up there at the end. I'd be worried if we got clobbered by the likes of the teams I've mentioned previously and some other mediocre teams but these are now the elite and proper big boys we've been  whupped by. THIS season as we all know the big boys are back and we shouldn't panic TOO much if we get walloped now and again by them.

I'm expecting a heavy beating today with the game over before half time.

5-1 Chelsea.

Please no 442. Let's pack the midfield and play on the break. (As long as we have enough fit midfielders)

We have no more CM options because Mendy is broken and that Sporting geezer puller the plug on Silva at the very last minute ...    Hardly cause for criticism.    We are building a good strong squad and I'm quite happy with that.

A couple of chipped finishes from them?

i can feel a haddock coming on

another thread destroyed by fish word jokes ?

chelsea are due a good performance and result but they could easily fail to click today. I'm a bit worried that we fall between two stools and fail to press nor be solid. Claudio must decide how he wants to play today and go for it. Either set up for a 0-0 and hope to pinch a win or be more aggressive and try and counter high up.

I understand that.

My my post was in reply to criticism of Ranieri, whom I was defending as he has no midfield options at present.
