Also, imagine the story is we knock out a Real Madrid or Munich, no one will care of we scrape through last 16 and then get beat in QF

Or an easy last 16 and draw Real in the QF. Away leg first and we beat them 2-0 Vardy and Okazaki. Then the whole world tunes in to see the return leg at the KP sorry Leicester City Stadium. Top and co will be so pissed lollollol

Imagine the scenes!!!

Unfortunately I don't think an 'east last 16' tie exists

So you don't think Benfica would be an easier draw than Real or Bayern. I don't think any game is easy but still draws I would prefer over others. Yes for the glamour Barca but wanting to get as far as possible I'd rather we don't see them till the semi's or the final.

Easier yes but certainly not easy. I reckon any game in the last 16, looking at the teams, we'll be underdogs.

Personally, I would like to see us beat Real, Bayern, Juve then Barca in the final

Besiktas went from all but dead as a tie to very realistic, very quickly. Mental night for them.

I know it might sound cocky, but Bayern are in a bit of a mini crisis, have an age and transitional problem and do look a bit shaky at the back.

This could potentially one of the best occasions ever to get a result against them.

I posted something similar in another post, only worry is that we are 3 months away from the knockout games. Any teams form can change by them and I wouldn't like to gamble with them

Best case scenario in my head is Benfica or Bayer Leverkusen followed by an English side in the QF as it opens up after round of 16.

I'm assuming Porto/Copenhagen are other teams we can't face again until the QF right?

No possible draw can be described as easy.

Every single one of those teams will want to draw Leicester City, make no mistake about it.

Don't be guilty of the same underestimation as they will be.

Not just form will change. Squads will change in Jan and hoping ours is one of the major movers in this.

Leverkusen are the team we must hope to draw. They have a history of choking.

And then we thrash them 4 nill ala Aranguiz og 01, 14, 21, 64

Bayern won't add too much more. However, for us, we can attract players by having qualified for Last 16 of CL but we don't offer much more than Prem football in the future. I guess we will see what happens in January

In the Bayern Munich message board... "I  know it might sound cocky, but Leicester are in a bit of a mini crisis, have an age and transitional problem and do look a bit shaky at the back.

No way are Bayern fans looking at us the way we are looking at Bayern and their fans! lol

What planet are they on? There is modest and there is thinking you can get a sneaky win when you're one of the top 3 football clubs in the world.

No possible draw can be described as easy. That goes for all clubs in this, for both clubs in each match up.

So let them want to draw us. Every single club wanted to draw us from Pot 1 for their group.

Hopefully whichever club we draw will be guilty of underestimating us.

The only one I wouldn't want is Napoli. The rest of the potential draws look excellent.

I'm sincerely hoping ours is either 14/15 February, as I'm back at work the following week.

What's up?

Why would you want an English team in the champions league?

I felt quite underwhelmed at the teams we drew in the group stages. Getting an English team in the champions league would confirm that we are cursed with bad luck when cup draws are made.

We're not holding up too great either. Lets be fair.
