Hernandez asking for players shirt during a corner

Recommended Posts

Surely it's not too much to ask that a player fully concentrates on the game when he is playing - Hernandez was asking the player he was marking for his shirt while Porto were taking a corner. Sums it up really.

****ing unbelievable.

Do you think that would  be done under Pearson?

Sorry to bring NP up again but it shows a complete ignorance and lack of caring.  Claudio doesn't have any control over these guys whatsoever.  No leadership no fear factor nothing.

Like the inmates are running the asylum.

While defending a corner he asked a Porto player if he could have his shirt!

the Porto player was like "now?" "No, at the final whistle mate"

Did anyone else see this?

Fine him, send him to the reserves. Send a clear messsage.

Oh, and the rest of the team need to be forced to train in an enclosed environment for four weeks straight.

Only let out for PL matchs, no Christmas, no holidays, scrap all extras and amenities.

why does this matter lol. Am I the only one not fussed about a player asking for a shirt? In this circumstance, it's the least of the worries. If it was a corner that meant something, like protecting a lead or qualification mattered, then yeah have a go. In this scenario, who gives a shit?

Because people like to see some professionalism and effort.

I'm sure the 2,500 who went tonight won't be happy to hear this.

My god I'm actually gobsmacked some people are ok with this.

IT WAS A CHAMPION LEAGUE GAME AND WE JUST GOT HUMILIATED IN FRONT OF THE WORLD.

How can you not give a shit?

Seen him taking to a Porto player... But was it really about a shirt swap?

He pointed to the players shirt then mimicked the whistle being blown & pointed to his. Trust me, that's what he did.

lol i give a shit about the performance. It's not that I don't give a shit about it so don't put words in my mouth or twist the ones I've said.

A player asked for a shirt. so what? What's the harm done? The damage in the game has already been done. Like I said, if it was at a point in the game where something really mattered, I'd share all your frustrations. But a player asking another for their shirt is hardly the biggest of our worries right now.

Honestly, some people don't get it do they?

Football is about pride - the pride of your city, the pride of something that's been in your family for generations almost as if it were part of your DNA. That's always been far more important than the results.

When people (players included) disrespect your club, like if they don't seem to care about a competitive game they shit all over that pride.

No group of fans who care about their club should accept this sort of behaviour (if he did indeed do what is alleged).

Can we just get back to planet earth for a second... they were speaking Spanish and there was no sign language indication of short swapping... to me it looked like Hernandez complaining about an earlier tussle.

To me it shows he was more interested in swapping shirts than defending the corner. He only needs to switch on for around 90 minutes. It's disrespectful and unprofessional. Just shows what the game meant to him.

willy puller. And hes shit

Play Morgan or Huth at RB and we'll see similar performances. He is not at RB, Ranieri needs to stop.

Like I said above, you don't get it. You obviously don't realise why you even care about the club.

It's not the result it's the pride. Clearly he wasn't bothered we were being thrashed, he wasn't gutted or humiliated. And based on that he probably isn't bothered he won't be playing again for a very long time.

If he's bothered about who's shirt he's getting at the end it shows a worrying lack of professionalism, pride and respect.
