Can we just get back to planet earth for a second... they were speaking Spanish and there was no sign language indication of short swapping... to me it looked like Hernandez complaining about an earlier tussle.

jesus ****ing Christ!

Well if so I take it all back.

Still, he is wank.

Surely it's not too much to ask that a player fully concentrates on the game when he is playing - Hernandez was asking the player he was marking for his shirt while Porto were taking a corner. Sums it up really.

Do you speak Spanish,

genuine question as me and my mates said the same

I agree with you... he's wank as a right back.... not his fault he's being asked to play there though, that'll be whoever though it was okay to start a premier league/champions league season with one right back in the squad

Honestly, some people don't get it do they?

Football is about pride - the pride of your city, the pride of something that's been in your family for generations almost as if it were part of your DNA. That's always been far more important than the results.

When people (players included) disrespect your club, like if they don't seem to care about a competitive game they shit all over that pride.

No group of fans who care about their club should accept this sort of behaviour (if he did indeed do what is alleged).

you think I don't understand this about pride and respect lol? Give over.

How is it disrespecting the club in this scenario? The whole game was a farce today - they clearly could have played better and given an ounce of effort in that respect. Getting your knickers in a twist about a player (allegedly) wanting to swap a shirt isn't what you should be pissed off about.

If we're winning 5-0, and a player wants to swap a shirt with a player of the opposition, would you kick up a fuss then?

Ulloa also laughing and joking at the end....

Not sure I would be after a 5-0 thrashing infront of fans that had travelled all that way to watch..  Ah well. Welcome to the modern footballer.

Hernandez had a shocker. Not sure if it's because he is just not a RB, or he is just turd. Chilwell worse player on the pitch though, which was really disappointing

No I don't, I don't even think he was speaking. It was his actions and body language that make me convinced he was asking for the shirt. It's also been mentioned in the game thread so I'm not the only one to think that.

Like I said above, you don't get it. You obviously don't realise why you even care about the club - I do, so please don't question that.

It's not the result it's the pride. Clearly he wasn't bothered we were being thrashed, he wasn't gutted or humiliated. And based on that he probably isn't bothered he won't be playing again for a very long time. - this i will agree with.

If he's bothered about who's shirt he's getting at the end it shows a worrying lack of professionalism, pride and respect.

why does this matter lol. Am I the only one not fussed about a player asking for a shirt? In this circumstance, it's the least of the worries. If it was a corner that meant something, like protecting a lead or qualification mattered, then yeah have a go. In this scenario, who gives a shit?

Hernandez didn't that's for sure

The Porto guy was like wtf? Hernandez had a personal nightmare and this capped his night off. It was embarrassing. Doesn't matter to him though, got a smashing new shirt for the collection.

I really don't give a toss about the shirt swapping but I am concerned that we gave a contract to a defender that has no pace. It's clear that pace has become the most important part of the modern game and this guy is slow - really slow. and he is pretty well our only defensive cover  (was is well past it)

Kitch is correct and Ulloa at the end chatting with his mates probably all out for cocktails after..

The owners should stop the cheques and see if they have the balls to challenge it.

Hernandez no,Schlupp(free to west brom if they pay his wages)Chilwell sadly not going to be a prem player,Was thanks for the effort,Morgan looking desperate.Musa no thanks waste of cash,Ulloa for a big lad looks like a flyweight,Oka must be getting fed up by now.

Minor positive Drinky and Mendy but still overran we didn't have a shot until the last few minutes and one corner. Why didn't we take Drinky off when he was clearly in trouble basic stuff he pulled out of a couple of tackles.

Hard to believe

why would they be speaking in spanish in Portugal?

He is not a right back.

He is one of the slowest players I have ever seen yet Ranieri keeps playing him at fullback. Even I'd beat him for pace.

Play him at centre half ffs

agree.

its not like he or anyone was running themselves into the ground anyway.

however, if it helps keep him out of the team in the future then im all for it!!

He's a better ball player than both Huth and Morgan combined but he's not as physically commanding as them. I'd start Hernandez against Manchester City
