Dan Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Genuinely astonishes me some people would play the reserves. We've actually got an alright break from games after this. I can't be arsed with the same arguments again though as some people have already been brainwashed. I'd experiment a bit although I'd have been in favour of doing that in the league anyway. I think we'll draw 2-2.

It's "lets do it next year" yet no matter what the situation is, when it comes around to it, people will make excuses for not going for it again.
UPinCarolina Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 It would be nice to steal one here. We couldn't have asked for a worse draw, really.
FireFox Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 After watching the Spurs Chelsea game, I'd actually like us try 3-4-3 to prepare to play it against Chelsea. Kasper Hernandez - Morgan - Huth Albrighton - Drinky - King - Fuchs/Chilwell Gray - Vardy - Musa Or maybe 3-5-2 with Mendy for Musa.

Yeas I've been looking and can't find it anywhere. Fully expected it to be broadcast here in Aus, but nothing. Surely there's a market for the FA cup?

Stevosevic Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Full strength please. Gray, DD, Vardy, Mendy etc...have played little football recently anyway.
Harry - LCFC Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Expecting two vastly different sides to be put out. They've got no reason not to go for it and Claudio has, unfortunately, shown he's not that interested in cup competitions, not right now anyway. Still managing to look forward to it though! 8 hours ago, Dan LCFC said: It happens every year as well. Wanting to wait until we're in a position of perfect security effectively means you never want us to go for it. People who make that argument should just admit they're not that bothered about the cups. Last season's FA Cup tie would be the only recent occasion where I'd make an exception.
TrentFox Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Nobody picking Ndidi? Does that mean we have signed a player that isn't paperwork-fee yet ?!?? Heck of a gamble if he's signed before its confirmed he is eligible to play. Or are our 'he's signed' threads premature?
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Zieler Simpson Wasilewski Hernandez Chilwell Drinkwater Mendy Gray Okazaki Musa Vardy
SpacedX Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Hamer; Hernandez, Morgan, Wasilewski, Chilwell; Gray, Mendy, Drinkwater, Schlupp; Okazaki, Musa What could possibly go wrong?
Nick Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 I think the team we will see will be this: Hernandez Morgan Huth Fuchs Gray Drink Mendy Albrighton ..........Okazaki Vardy Three subs I imagine used will be Chilwell, Musa and Ulloa or Ndidi for Mendy if he's got a note from his mum and a work permit. I also think Gray and Albrighton should keep swapping wing positions which will allow Gray to cut in.

Even though the club have announced the deal is done (Pending international clearance) i still never believe it until i see a picture of the player holding up the shirt at the training ground saying its been a long term dream to play for us ever since he saw us away to Hartlepool back in 2009

Footballwipe Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Full strength, go for it. Win. No-one who was at Wembley in August can honestly tell me they don't want to do that twice more (yes, semi shouldn't be there etc) on a cup run in a one-off game that really matters. Fans everywhere, beer everywhere, sunny day.

brucey Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Likely full strength then... although Vardy was probably in need of getting match fit anyway

Poiseuille Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 From the press conference it sounds like we will be going full strength for this. Vardy confirmed to start. I think we will see Ndidi start also. Possibly Ulloa from what he's said about him as well?KasperSimpson Morgan Huth ChillwellAlbrighton Drinky Ndidi GrayVardy UlloaSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
