When did Slimani make his debut? I think it was against Burnley when he grabbed 2 goals.

Brugge away

I think randomly Neil Lennon had a great debut back in the day! Can't for the life of me remember who it was but I seem to recall him having a cracking game. Or was it Muzzy, oh I don't bloody remember!

Think I also witnessed Frank Large 's first game.. Away to Spurs, Dec 1967.. He was a handful for them and we won 1-0 (Alan Tewley scored)...

And Neil Lennon.. Away to Reading (came on at the start of the 2nd half)... If my memory serves me well?

Collymore (if the thrashing of Sunderland at home was it) had an incredible debut.  I can't think of a better one.  It all fell apart so quickly afterwards.  I remember taking a mate of mine from Uni whom I had gradually converted to be a City fan over three years.  It was his first ever visit to Filbo.  He loved it.  He is now- I sh*t you not- a buddhist living in California with no access to Sky Sports.  Funny old game.

It wasn't Collymore's debut, he played at Watford a couple of weeks before.

Lennon made his debut away at reading and gave away a penalty and Izzet made his debut against Sheffield Utd in the infamous MON out game. So not amazing debuts.

Ryan Smith - away at Derby, came on at half time and looked amazing. Thought he'd go on and play for England. Left Arsenal for Derby and god knows what happened to him. Probably works at Tescos.

I think he had an assist and gave a pen away on debut.  All round had a good game though.

Probably does. According to Wiki he last played for Xanthi in Greece in 2013.

Full home debuts seem so be a thing with our club.

Collymore hat trick against Sunderland (Ohhhh Stanley Stanley...),

Cambiasso scoring against Man Utd in the 5-3,

Slimani grabbing a brace against Burnley.

If we are on about home debuts I think a Heskey came on against Norwich and helped change the game, I think though his debut was against QPR away.
