I don't buy into that theory that it's all down to Kante. We played decent football and stayed up without him, when he didn't start last year we still fought and played well.

Of course it's going to impact you losing probably one of the best in the world, but not to this extent. He's just another one of many reasons.

We played well the year before Kante, but we had Cambiasso in midfield, one of the best midfielders of his generation. We've gone - Cambiasso > Kante > King/Amartey/Mendy in central midfield, possibly the most important position on the pitch.

Just watched today's presser with Claudio. Makes me really worried.  He was pretending to not understand a lot of questions he has answered easily in the past.  Also, he had a lot of powder puff questions, especially from RL who, to be fair did ask if anyone had a guaranteed spot.  One journo asked him to describe his playing style, to which he responded "to win".  They let it go.  Stringer could have followed up on that and asked about long aimless balls etc.  Basically, all the things we ask on here. Oh, I'd kill (figuratively) to be there and get to ask some questions.

Another I noticed was, as they cut to training footage, Kairo Mitchell is training with the first team.  Any regulars to the U23s know much about him?  Looks tall, that's for sure!

I stopped listening to Ranieri pressers mid way through last season.  It's full of cliches and buzzwords.

Very worrying though. I guess journalists don't wanna ask "hard" questions cos they still want access. A bit like politics really. I'd like to think Ranieri is intelligent enough to understand the gravity of the situation.

lol he has officially lost the plot, how can we carry on with this man when he's saying ridiculous stuff like this.

It's true. They're fighting any plan that might be in place. Fighting any consistency. Fighting the idea of playing like champions. For all we know they're fighting in the dressing room - maybe that's the reason the defence by passes the midfield with every hoofed ball up front.

And now we find ourselves fighting relegation. I just hope with all this fighting the players have energy enough to fight on the pitch, but as it stands right now I'm staining to see any evidence of it myself at the moment.

I completely understand the frustration at his quotes, but we have to remember he does actually have a very limited vocabulary. He always has ever since he joined, last season him saying the same thing over and over was endearing "We make a good game". Now because we are losing it is annoying.... that's how things go, but I honestly think he's trying his best to get a point across correctly it's just not quite within his vocab.

So you think instead of "fight" he mean "fail" and it's just his vocab is the issue?

Is Slimani fit to play?

Hopefully the players have been given an absolute rocket during the week and they'll show up for a big game this weekend.

Play ulloa with musa on Sunday

We still managed to play decent football even when he wasn't in the team.

I feel like fainting everytime I read that tweet. Claudio has lost his mind.

Not even trying to exaggerate but I think we'll lose this 1-6.

If United are in the mood, that might be quite modest! Not sure where the one's coming from though.

Don't worry.  I just played City v Man U on FIFA on my PS4 and we won 2-0 having hit the woodwork four times.  Vardy opened the scoring before Mahrez finished it off.  The atmosphere was amazing and Man U rarely threatened.  Phew.

I did the exact same thing and lost 3-1 :sweating:

Musa was great on the left though... Get him in!!

Lets be positive I think we. Can win this one. I know that everyone has an opinion and yes this season is hard to take but at the end of the day we are all Leicester fans and will always be.

I'm thinking the 1 will come from a last minute long distance strike.  And the Utd fans will cheer loudly to take the piss.

Mourinho is eulogising over us in his presser. We need a Vardy dive in the box in the 87th minute and Jose will go ape shit on us in the post match calling us bellends.
