I don't buy into that theory that it's all down to him. We played decent football and stayed up without him, when he didn't start last year we still fought and played well.

Of course it's going to impact you losing probably one of the best in the world, but not to this extent. He's just another one of many reasons.

the good thing is Man Utd will be way over confident of beating us and we can lull them into a false state of security by being different. don't do what they expect us to do, do what they don't expect us to do. now everyone knows we can only play four four two it will be less likely we will surprise teams and teams will just sit deep against us and allow no space for Vardy and co to run into. we are just so predictable at the moment and we need to be unpredictable and a good manager finds solutions to the problems they face

Swansea,  Palace and Hull all found replacement Managers who have started to improve their respective teams fortunes...

I'd love to see Mancini get the job!

Far too early to judge these appointments. Remember for every Clement there's a Bradley.

Mancini wouldn't touch us with a bargepole.

We're desperate for Slimani to be fit.

Exactly this. If we're going to be persistent on playing stupid ****ing hoof balls up to the strikers Slimani has to play.

I guess this is the first season where we've attempted to defend higher up the pitch, did you post some heat maps that showed our defenders about 10-20 yards further forward on average compared to last season?

Seems like we've tried to adapt our style of play but haven't signed the players to match that. We seems to be a little wider and higher this season but don't have the players to play that way with any great success at this level.

It would be typical of some of our "bertie big bollocks" players to raise their game against a glamour club (compared to a wet tuesday night at Burnley). imo we need some strong vocal personality players on the pitch to gee up/bollock some players. Hopefully one such leader could be Slimani Im as dissappointed as any fan but performing as bad as we have this season we have still amassed 21 points from 13 games that means 19pts/15 games to reach the magic 40. Im not confident but with the players we have it should be achievable, im trying to keep positive and a thrashing here would be demoralising, i hope we play a tight defensive formation and attemt to nick a point or 3

Well This stat time should cheer everyone up

  • Leicester City have won just one of their last 17 games against Man Utd in all competitions (D3 L13) – 5-3 in this exact fixture in September 2014.
  • Manchester United have only lost two of their 21 Premier League meetings with Leicester City (W13 D6).
  • This match will be Leicester’s 2000th in the top-flight (currently P1999 W642 D526 L831, 32.1 win %)
  • Jamie Vardy has had a hand in four goals in two Premier League appearances against Manchester United at the King Power Stadium (two goals, two assists).
  • Manchester United are currently on the longest unbeaten away run in the Premier League (six games – W4 D2 L0). This is their best away run in the competition since a run of seven games between November 2014 and February 2015.
  • In fact, Manchester United are now unbeaten in 14 Premier League games (W7 D7 L0) – this is the longest current unbeaten run in the ‘big five’ European leagues.
  • Leicester are only the fifth Premier League team to fail to score in their opening four matches of a calendar year, following Newcastle (2008), Swansea (failed to score in their first four Premier League games in August & September 2011), Hull (2014) and Aston Villa (2015) – no team has ever failed to score in their first five.
  • The Foxes have lost their last three Premier League games – they haven’t lost four in a row since February 2015, a run of five under Nigel Pearson.
  • Leicester City haven't won both of their home league games against the Manchester clubs (United and City) in the same season since 1975-76.

They're not very confident looking at their forum. 0-3

They clearly haven't watched us. Honestly they should be looking to be 2 or 3 up by half time.

Put Big nose and Fellaini up front, get a few corners and there is your win. Remember Morgan letting the ball bounce in the box vs Burnley? Christ we're ****ed.

I don't expect for one minute that we will be picking up 3 points on Sunday however we NEED to at least get a point. Hull managed a point so we need to in order to keep ahead of our relegation rivals. In October Burnley also managed a point at Old Trafford.

I agree that players will raise their game in an attempt to impress against the bigger clubs however i have a feeling we will get outplayed and embarrassed for the whole 90 minutes and end up loosing another 3-0.

Prepare for the same "We tried hard....i am happy with the performance.." rubbish from Mr Oblivious himself after the game.

I like kantè, I like him a lot. But some people act like he is the greatest player of all time. Almost everyone in our team is underperforming. And kantè was like the right gear in the right place. I truly think that this team should've been better if we signed idrissa gueye. He is a kantè prototype. We are paying the price of not getting the right gear for the engine. We needed a a CDM that can get the ball upfield and instead nwe got 2 CDMs that can't run with the ball that great. And a better Andy king. But a Large part of the blame is on Drinkwater. His job is to be the box to box. Love it or hate it. Kantè was doing the job for both CMs. I won't say kantè carried him or any thing. But, Drinkwater weaknesses are now glaring because the the babysitter is not there.

Another record for us on Sunday

  • Leicester are only the fifth Premier League team to fail to score in their opening four matches of a calendar year, following Newcastle (2008), Swansea (failed to score in their first four Premier League games in August & September 2011), Hull (2014) and Aston Villa (2015) – no team has ever failed to score in their first five.

1-If that means 3 points. Then I wiil be OK with them only showing up for spurs, pool, man city and arsenal. Those are 12 "possible"  points if they only show themselves against big teams. Let us scrap a win vs hull and Watford at home and we are set to stay up.

2- I agree with your point about slim. He is the only vocal player in the team. I would've given him the armband if he could speak English and had at least a year on him. But that didn't stop cambiasso.

Why? He's 6'2 and jumps 5'3! If we're playing hoof ball Ulloa's the man.

Never thought I'd say this but Joey Barton got 3 or 4 shots on goal Tuesday and it got me thinking how many of our central midfielders ever shoot? , even last year!
