Nick Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 Is Slimani fit to play? Hopefully the players have been given an absolute rocket during the week and they'll show up for a big game this weekend.

Brooksy Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 Slimanis out injured. Thats any slim chance of us scoring gone then
Wymsey Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 If Slimani is ''training hard'', surely he's fit enough to play some part.. Does make me think that the upcoming CL games are highest on Ranieri's mind, even despite the poor league position we're in currently.

Karlos-da-gr8-Fox Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 not fighting for each other anyway... throw Wague straight in the mix we wont keep clean sheet anyway worth getting him in immediately
kingfox Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 he has officially lost the plot, how can we carry on with this man when he's saying ridiculous stuff like this.
Nugent Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 Sick of hearing this 'we continue to fight' bullshit every post-match interview and every pre-game press conference, it's a load of shite, change the record Claudio
lgfualol Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 No Slim.. Great. Two more depressing games of watching 60ft hoofs up to Vardy while his shots go out for more throw-ins.
Matt_Lcfc Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 Got to back the lads here going to be a hard game. 2-0 City Mahrez X2 Wes to have Ibrahimovic in the back pocket
J.Lisemore Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 We're gonna get absolutely pasted here unless we actually show this 'fight' that Ranieri keeps banging on about.
Babylon Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 Sod the fighting shite.... I'd like to see them play a bit of football.
lgfualol Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 Play Musa up front and hope Barcelona Musa appears.

Yeah I've been reading these worthless "we must fight" quotes for months. Why can't Simpson come out and say "we must keep the ball on the ground and pass to team-mates"? Also why is it always the same handful of players that do these interviews.

If they ever manage to string 4 passes together half the stadium will probably die of shock. While the other half demands they knock it forward
chapero82 Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 Great no height against tall defenders and we will just hoof it up to the forwards! so depressing
Legend_in_blue Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 He forgot to mention the spirit with the fight. That's it folks - we're missing the spirit.
USFox Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 Sigh. Slimani out really hurts us. Because of Vardy's form, it seems like without Slimani we have no No. 9. I'm advocating we play 4-2-1-3 (since we're probably going to devolve to long ball anyway) with Musa on the left, Vardy in the middle, and Mahrez on the right. Behind them as the sole ACM I would play Drinkwater and behind Drinky as the two CDMs I would place Mendy and N'didi. Back 4 would be Chilwell left, Huth and Morgan in the middle (can't really think of anyone on our team who can replace them at the moment), and Simpson on the right wing.
filbertway Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 Fight is the new smashing bunch of lads. As soon as a manager keeps repeating the same crap you know it's only a matter of time.
Gazza M Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 Hoping for changes in team, now expecting same hoof ball crap again with usual faces after hearing Ranieri. I hope I am so wrong and we play some good football on the floor and get a result. Don't see it and I expect Claudio to do the decent thing if we get a pasting.
AjcW Posted 3 February 2017 Posted 3 February 2017 I completely understand the frustration at his quotes, but we have to remember he does actually have a very limited vocabulary. He always has ever since he joined, last season him saying the same thing over and over was endearing "We make a good game". Now because we are losing it is annoying.... that's how things go, but I honestly think he's trying his best to get a point across correctly it's just not quite within his vocab.
