Is Slimani fit to play?

Hopefully the players have been given an absolute rocket during the week and they'll show up for a big game this weekend.

If Slimani is ''training hard'', surely he's fit enough to play some part..

Does make me think that the upcoming CL games are highest on Ranieri's mind, even despite the poor league position we're in currently.

Sick of hearing this 'we continue to fight' bullshit every post-match interview and every pre-game press conference, it's a load of shite, change the record Claudio

Sod the fighting shite.... I'd like to see them play a bit of football.

Yeah I've been reading these worthless "we must fight" quotes for months. Why can't Simpson come out and say "we must keep the ball on the ground and pass to team-mates"?

Also why is it always the same handful of players that do these interviews.

This. If they ever manage to string 4 passes together half the stadium will probably die of shock.

While the other half demands they knock it forward

Sigh. Slimani out really hurts us. Because of Vardy's form, it seems like without Slimani we have no No. 9. I'm advocating we play 4-2-1-3 (since we're probably going to devolve to long ball anyway) with Musa on the left, Vardy in the middle, and Mahrez on the right. Behind them as the sole ACM I would play Drinkwater and behind Drinky as the two CDMs I would place Mendy and N'didi. Back 4 would be Chilwell left, Huth and Morgan in the middle (can't really think of anyone on our team who can replace them at the moment), and Simpson on the right wing.

Hoping for changes in team, now expecting same hoof ball crap again with usual faces after hearing Ranieri. I hope I am so wrong and we play some good football on the floor and get a result. Don't see it and I expect Claudio to do the decent thing if we get a pasting.

I completely understand the frustration at his quotes, but we have to remember he does actually have a very limited vocabulary. He always has ever since he joined, last season him saying the same thing over and over was endearing "We make a good game". Now because we are losing it is annoying.... that's how things go, but I honestly think he's trying his best to get a point across correctly it's just not quite within his vocab.
