Trouble in the Gallery Restaurant section

I'll tell you what, you can knock the prawn sandwich brigade, but generally the core is a decent bunch of long suffering  fans who enjoy a meal before the game.

The issues often come when they invite others and they don't know how to behave.

Free bar and all that, you can spot them a mile off.

Ill fitting clothes that they last wore at their mates wedding and over indulging, their greed as much evident as their wallets remaining firmly in their pockets.

You can spot them a mile off, normally you can pick them out well before they get drunk and so manage to avoid them.

The genuine prawn sandwich people I have met have been thoroughly decent people, and it's the non regulars that give them a bad name

Interestingly the steward managed to refuse my 8 year old son from taking a can of pepsi into the ground, but let this guy in with his branded United rucksack and scarf!

Maybe he thought you might use it to throw at the kids dad ??

Corporate facility that is bound to have different people at.

Will be a core of people going but the idea is for businesses to take clients or perspective clients.

There will be the oddball or two its inevitable.

On this occasion not all Leicester followers that were in the Gallery would tolerate the goading and general dick headiness that is synonymous with those non Mancunians who attach themselves to that club.

Well I hope they had a good hard think about their behaviour on their way home to Basingstoke, Maidenhead and Chelmsford

Don't you mean Birstall,Markfield and Cosby?

Hardly the 'posh' side of the West Stand, just casuals.

The Gallery isn't either, had experienced poorly-done food and heard complaints about meals there from other people.

I went in the Man U corporate end (entry level) earlier in the season.  As you'll recall we were 4-0 down at half-time.  It was bloody miserable, although the staff were genuinely nice to me and my lad (10).  I would not have dreamed of wearing colours, though.  I couldn't help jumping up when Demmy Gray scored that belter, but my son was trying to pull me down.  Fortunately, (a) literally everyone around us were tourists rather than Stretford Enders and (b) we were still 4-1 down.  No bother ensued.

Last time I went to Man U albeit v Chelsea (freebie) we were in the middle of the Stretford end and nobody spoke English !

All foreign visitors on corporate tickets.

One of the nicest experience for me was when I walked into a room, to be informed to choose on if two tables to sit at.

I looked at one table and recognised the guy who was very well connected and would have been good to spend lunch with.

Then I looked at the other table and there was Frank Worthington and his family. So I chose that one.

Just remembered, that was beaten by an old Leicester player inviting me as his guest to a game.

It was an away game and he was paraded on the pitch at half time. While he disappeared for his five minutes on the pitch he left me in the company of Andrew Impey, Alex McCleish and the one and only Martin ONeill.

Martins words will remain with me " you know what, I think you will do it this season"

Not really done the corporate at Leicester. Took my Liverpool supporting nephew to Anfield a few years back and had the restaurant/lounge/match ticket package and it was brilliant. The staff really looked after him and got to meet a couple of former players. The food was good, although not really suited to kids so my nephew didn't fancy much but the girl offered to go and get him something and came back with hot dogs and chips (presumably from one of the other catering outlets).
