stripeyfox Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Did anyone see what happened? Seem to be a scuffle in the front section of the Gallery seating area, and shortly afterwards a group of people appeared to leave. Assume United fans, unless quality of food as gone downhill!
Russell sprout Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 They were being idiots and constantly singing and being confrontational when asked to be quiet,I've no issue with an away fan celebrating a goal in this section but they were in people's faces,so got escorted out, there was a Man Utd fan with his 2 kids in this who quickly took them to the restaurant area, not nice to see,the club need to seriously start briefing away fans in this area on there actions as it happens almost every game,in what's still the family stand area of the stadium, the stewards are clueless as to how to deal with it aswell, 1 of them decided to come back in at half time, when spotted by fans from that section he was thrown back out again
ealingfox Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Prawn sandwiches were flying in every direction. Saw one bloke who I thought was covered in blood but turns out it was just Thousand Island dressing. Disgraceful scenes nonetheless.
yorkie1999 Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Company i deal with has got corporate at old trafford so i go, exactly the same thing happens with leicester fans .

goose2010 Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Something happened near the front of the kop as well there was a fair few united fans scattered around though had one next to me and he was actually alright didn't celebrate once just couldn't believe how different our fans were after their first goal went in!
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Haha restaurant aggro, restaurant aggro, wooah, wooah.
MrSpaM Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Place seemed to be full of Man u fans last night, they were everywhere, makes you wonder how they got tickets

I've sat as an away fan in "home" sections before, and I've taken "visitors" in the home section at Leicester before. As long as you're not a dick about it they're shouldn't be a problem.
Buzzell Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 My two bosses were in there yesterday. Said it was obviously Utd fans kicking off and celebrating hard when they scored.

I just got told it was the Utd fans celebrating and kicking up a fuss. Majority got thrown out. Apparently the stewards wanted nothing to do with it.
Mike Oxlong Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Don't know what the problem is with having United fans in the corporate areas. After all, we're all from Leicester.
surrifox Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Well I hope they had a good hard think about their behaviour on their way home to Basingstoke, Maidenhead and Chelmsford
dayday Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 I'm interested to know if anybody pick up a traffic cone
Marie84 Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 I sit next to the gallery and it was before they scored it was about 20 mins in.. everyone was slightly tolerant at 1st they was singing the united songs etc which was mostly ignored until they decided to join in with a " your going down " chant... understanding enough that's what started it.. it's about respect you can't expect to sit there doing that surrounded by home fans and not expect a reaction.. in the end stewards moved them before they scored.. but at 1st they didn't really want to get involved and was slow to come to sort it.. even Jim came up at 1 point... i go with my kids and am 5 months pregnant, so the lad I sit next to moved me out the way but I've not seen it flair up like that inside since Liverpool last season when there was some Liverpool fans in the box above us.. However after the games recently I've noticed it's kicking off near enough every week outside to the point for my kids safety we now leave just before full time to avoid it.. the club need to start doing something.. maybe keep away fans in until most home supporters have dispersed and reminding away supporters in the gallery area to remember their surroundings and to be respectful...

Thanks for confirmation that it was before the goals. We sit near the back in A1 and it did look quite nasty at first. I have two kids with me and they were scared. I've got no issue with "visitors" being in there, but just eat your meal, enjoy the game and don't be a dick!
