Johnthefoxrayner Posted 11 February 2017 Posted 11 February 2017 The likes of Chilwell and gray are the future of LCFC we have to keep hold of our best players. CHILWELL and GRAY must start against Swansea

BUT, to progress to the next level, it's about decision-making. The best attackers will have the pace, the skill, the confidence and all the rest of it. The very best will learn when to lay it off, when to give and go, when to slide the ball across the box, when to shoot, when not to shoot etc. He's got everything in his locker to become a really top player. But he's raw and has got to learn the decision making stuff. Fortunately, some of that (not all of it) can be learnt.

But if Liverpool aggressively pursue Gray they will get him. Just make sure we get a decent fee for him. Why don't you sing champions of England you'll never sing that. A fan from the bottom 5 telling a top 5 club they look Sunday league. Really? Stupid comment of the week.

AND of he loses this game , Dilly Ding Dilly Gone I don't think LCFC has done a fair job in managing playing resources. How is it that Benny who'd been frozen the whole season & even the last - has been thawed to play last week.. surely if he 's good enough to slot it straight away - he deserves to be on the bench every now & then. CR has lost the plot. I think he got lucky last year.
Tuna Posted 11 February 2017 Posted 11 February 2017 He's such an exciting player, potentially. I think he's got the right mentality, probably should stay off the hippy crack though.
Spudulike Posted 11 February 2017 Posted 11 February 2017 Birmingham will be keeping a close eye on this as I believe they inserted a sell-on clause

All the ones who would be useful would be sold and we'd be left with the old men, the mercenaries and the crap. I suppose a consolation is that we'd still get decent fees for a few of our players. You're right though, depressing.

Both would have strong cases to want to do so at the moment. Hopefully they both start against Swansea as both have justified starts on recent form.

I'm judging them based on where they are and their ambitions. They're a top 4/6 club. And their back 5 is the worst in the top 6. Lower league clubs are also allowed to call us shit even though we're better than them. You know that's allowed, right?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 February 2017 Posted 11 February 2017 The potential certainly is starting to show. We should keep him unless klopp puts in a ridiculous offer of like 50m or something. Probably one of the best young players around in the league

At a game and if your beating them fine. On a forum when they have been clearly better than us over the last 50yrs seems a little daft. Not like they are a rival. Especially as our manager keeps buying forwards /wingers when we clearly need defenders.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 11 February 2017 Posted 11 February 2017 Last season Mahrez was arguably 'greedy' at times but it was successful, showed confidence in his abilities. Gray is doing likewise and we need more players to be confident, like him, and stand up and be counted instead of the fearful Foxes, scared to do anything but a short ball to the nearest similarly lacking confidence teammate. Good on him.
