Stevosevic Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Just now, Matt said: Use him or lose him. Simple as that really. Yep. If Chilwell and Gray aren't getting regular football, they'll look to move on.
foxes21 Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Liverpool just sold Ibe, who had similar potential to Gray. Don't see it happening.
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 If Klopp can't see that his priority is with his defence, first and foremost, then he's not the manager I thought he was and that lots of people thought he was. Gray has got a bright future ahead of him, with us hopefully. Liverpool need a Raphael Varane or a Leonardo Bonucci. They don't need a Demari Gray.

mozartfox Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Yawn. He would probably like Kante too, no doubt. He can want all he likes. Stay up and we should hang on to our players, even the Turkeys we would like rid-of.
Clever Fox Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 I'm not really interested in Liverpool's problems. Thankfully we have him on a decent contract until 2020. This Summer will show the Clubs intentions, If their serious about us looking to move into the top 6 then all inquires for our young talent will be rejected. An early statement is needed from CR and the Club that our young Players are not for Sale. This stops speculation while also having players heads turned. If the Owners arer not serious about top 6 then it seems we're only interested in stability and mediocrity. Which personally I'm not interested in. I've waited too long for us to be apart of the elite again for us to throw it all away again.
adejo92 Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Wether Liverpool want him or not i don't know. What i do know is that Gray WILL be on a few managers wish list's for next season. Personally i would be gutted to see him go but but can't help but feel he will be off in a shot given the chance to play for a half big club. He is only going to improve and i can see him going far and we'll look back and say...He used to play for us..
dylanlegend Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Young English winger £30m plus. Going rate these days. Gray has potential but needs to sort out his consistency. Before the Derby game everyone was slagging him off now everyone loves him
HybridFox Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Managed to ward them off Chilwell so you never know. Plus with Mane, Firmino, Coutinho, Sturridge etc how much first team football is he likely to get? Hope we can keep hold of him but things move fast in football

On a more serious note if we go down then I think Liverpool will come in for Kasper and Chilwell.

Wymsey Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Rather him stay with proven recent champions that gave him the opportunity to be of his quality as shown on Wednesday, than be with a club known for great expectations but bottling it most seasons.
Buzzell Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 I'm really surprised Klopp isn't looking at the likes of Michael Keane. His defence is terrible.
foxinsocks Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 I would rather play for leicester... but would Gray? I think this type of "public tapping up" is despicable.
Stadt Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Brandt's better and probably cheaper too, besides this a non-story.

He's made 27 appearances this season and is our 10th most used player. He's 20, he's playing a damn sight more than most (if not all apart from Alli) 20 year olds in this league. The idea that he's not getting opportunities is bonkers.
Brainy Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Surprised his value isn't being quoted as about 7-8m, since he plays for us and not Leeds or Southampton
Fox92 Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 But Champions of England you'll never sing that so he's staying here.... Am I right????
Guest the fox Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 The thing is, gray strikes me as a player that thinks he's better than he actually is. So, I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to join a bigger club. But be careful what you ask for. Here he is playing with so little responsibility that he can actually afford to be a little selfish and have 1-2 bad consecutive games but in a bigger club he will be labeled a flop if he doesn't deliver right away.

All 11 are playing without any responsibility.
