davieG Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp is looking for a wing man – or two – as he looks to take the Reds on more than a flight of fancy. According to reports today, the German wants two wingers in the summer, with Leicester’s Demarai Gray and Leverkusen’s Julian Brandt his top targets. We’ve known about his interest in Brandt for some time, and we expect Liverpool to make a move for him at the end of the season. But the interest in Gray is something new – although the 20-year-old fits the profile of player he would like to sign. Gray only signed for Leicester last January from Birmingham for just over £4million and is starting to make a big impression despite starting just five Premier League games. The lightning quick striker did though start in the midweek FA Cup fourth round win over Derby and scored a brilliant goal in the process. Klopp, according to the Daily Mail, is tracking the progress of the player whilst also keeping tabs on Brandt at Bayer. Liverpool tried to sign Brandt in January but Bayer were not willing to part with the Germany Under 21 international who has a contract with the German club until 2019. Brandt is reported to be Klopp’s top target and the fact that his club are struggling to qualify for Europe might make the deal easier to seal.

Liverpool aren't good enough for him, he needs a team that have proven they can win the PL and are based in the East Midlands

FAKE NEWS. 99% of all rumours about player transfers are fake news but it still provides talking points that can develop beyond the original rumour and if not taken too seriously can be quite entertaining.
