woodland fox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Nobody wants Ranieri to go really after last season, we just want to win a few games to get out of the relegation dogfight. But if worse came to the worse and Ranieri left what would people think in this unthinkable situation, of a Pearson return

China Black Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 He would be a backward step. We need to move on from the Pearson era.
BenTheFox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Won't happen, but yes I would have him back.
Melbourne Fuchs Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 I'd take him on a short-term deal, if we couldn't get anyone else but I'd hardly be overjoyed.
lgfualol Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Not really. We'd end up getting rid again in a year or so when he has another psychotic breakdown
Wymsey Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Imagine if the word 'Pearson' was filtered on here. Most of the lcfc forum op this side would be halved.

Buzzell Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 I knew it was only a matter of time for a Nigel 'The Savior' Pearson thread
Foxxed Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 I'm game for trying anyone new at CB. Give him a go, sure.
Ted Maul Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Won't happen, but I'd have him back in a heartbeat.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Close thread. Not happening. Ever. The Thais and Pearson burnt their bridges over his son's Murray Head/One Night in Bangkok moment.
TrentFox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Right now, I'd take the two ladies who collect the kit after training. Literally, nobody could do a worse job in terms of results and motivation. Literally. No points. No goals. No fight. No desire. No hope at present. How could it be worse? Struggling to recall feeling so disengaged with our club.
BenTheFox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 We need a manager who has a clear vision for where they want to take the club, whoever that person is. I wasn't as negative as a lot of people when we appointed Ranieri, but I never saw him as a long term option. Even if by some miracle that Claudio turns this around, we should looking at a more youthful and long term manager in the summer.
