There's a new term in football currently, it is called the Leicester Triangle.

It involves a midfielder immediately passing to a cumbersome centre half, who in turn plays an immediate pass to the keeper, regardless of where the opposition are on the pitch!

Is it the Bermuda triangle, whereby the ball is lost never to be seen again

Smacks of: "Thanks for the title but you're all hopeless".

Great opening gambit for a new manager that.

Have you been away? For six months? They are all hopeless!

If we go down...still not a given, we will probably be able to ship Slimiani and fingers crossed Musa. Mahrez would go too which would be a blow because he d destroy most Championship defenses.

Schmeichel too will go, fair play, he would deserve the move.

The rest, we will probably end up keeping/ having to keep.

We'd lose Danny Drinkwater too.

The lovely FPP will also be back if we go down.

If that's FFP,  our earnings from sky alone will be upwards of 100 million.

Let's be positive, and assume that our heroes will someone lead us to glory by staying up. Even if this happens, I can foresee a mass clear out:

Ranieri - sacked

Schmeichel - £12m to Man City

Zieler - £1m to a club in Germany

Huth - £3m return to a club in Germany

Fuchs - £2m move to club in the US

Wasilewski - released

Benny - £3m to a club in Italy

King - £2.5m to Derby

Mendy - £8m return to a club in France

Drinkwater - £9.5m to West Brom

Albrighton - £4m to Stoke

Mahrez - £20m to Monaco

Okazaki - £5m to a club in China (paying way over the odds!)

Slimani - £30m to a club in China (paying way over the odds!)

Vardy - £12m to Everton or a promoted Newcastle

Ulloa - £7m to Burnley

Musa - £10m to a club in Russia

That's around £130m to spend on replacements. Only first teamers to remain - Simpson, Morgan, Chilwell, Ndidi, Gray, Amartey

Only first team pl

You are on a wind up. Nobody could be this daft.. lol

Get rid of:

Wasilewski

Morgan or Huth

Chilwell - if Liverpool made a big offer for him and the club had big interest in an establish but also better left-back than him, sell him (regrettably) and sign that player up with the proceeds.

Still really not sure whether Musa has much positive effect on the forward line, so if too expensive to sell (probably), loan him out to a decent club.

This might sound really soft but I don't want them to go and become "good" again. It will just hurt me to see us go down or just about stay up, lose half the squad that made us feel great for a year and than they all went off and became great somewhere else. Why can't they just be good again here.?

I dont know what hurts more. Being shit. Or just knowing the shit ones here will go off and be good again somewhere else.

IF LCFC do go down I believe the players owe the club after what they were given last season new cars

Big pay packets. The players should pull together and stay if we go down they owe the club and the fans that much surely.

We should have sold Vardy to Arsenal the minute his missus wanted to move, instead we put up with all that nonsense and offered him a ridiculous new contract. We could have then used the money to buy Harry Kane, or some other striker.

Yeah, Lets get rid of 15K pew week Ben Hamer and 50K per week Benny in the same way we shifted Conrad Logan.

Also I hope we kept the receipts on all new signings other than Ndidi and return them or ask for a reduction under The Sale of Goods Act as not as described, not of satisfactory quality and not fit for purpose.

For now, let's look at some other striker.

Surely this depends on where we finish?

Relegation and the sale will be big. It will probably have to be. Stay up and it won't be..we've got so many players on long contracts.

Make no bones about it, so that there is no confusion...with what we did in the summer, this season could not have gone much worse. If we crash out of the Champs League and get relegated, it could not have gone any worse.

if we stay up then gray, chilwell and amartey need to be loaned out.

none of them are consistent enough for the prem yet. each of them show brilliance once in a while but so did jeff schlupp.

its most likely kapustka should be loaned out too, but we haven't seen enough of him to say he's inconsistent.

Let's hope some lessons have been learnt from our buys last summer and in January, with more precise targets for the team's needs are both pinpointed and making bids that are feasible and also be more tough on agents demands etc.
