The greatest atmosphere tomorrow please.

let's get behind the team, and the owners who only want what is best for this football club and have done wonders since they took over the club, you might not like some of their decisions but they are ambitious and in business you have to be ruthless and cannot afford to get sentimental.let's sing, chant and make some noise and show we are with our football club come rain or shine and through good times and the bad.

we're Leicester City, Leicester City F.C.

The players have been passive this season, the atmosphere has gone backwards for obvious reasons, tonight is the night both fans and players forget about the title for a while and focus on the here and now and reconnect.

If it is a toxic atmosphere for the rest of the season, then I think we're definitely doomed to relegation.

I've already said it, but I think there's too much assumption going on. A lot of people seem to be convinced that Ranieri is a saint and the players are all cvnts who betrayed him. Do any of us know this to be a fact? Is it not possible that Ranieri simply wasn't up to the task this season?

Maybe the players are mostly at fault for this season, maybe it was Claudio. Either way, while we've still got a chance at survival, isn't it best we give the players the benefit of the doubt and get behind them until we're safe or that chance is gone?

The players have been attacked from all sides, and it might not even be warranted. The last thing they need is for the club's own fans to get on their backs, surely?

The most important thing is the club. Let's not forget that. Relegation will most probably ruin us. Let's give ourselves the best possible chance of avoiding it. If you want to boo the players over rumours or petty vindictiveness, then that's your prerogative, but don't be shocked if people question your loyalty. Are you a fan of the club, or a former manager? You don't have to love the players, but don't forget that they are the only ones who can keep the club from disaster, and it is possible that they're not to blame.

Imagine how you'd feel if you lay into the players, we go down, and then it's revealed that there was no backstabbing - that in fact they'd done nothing wrong. We might have survived, but Leicester fans believed the shite wrote in the papers and made their job that much harder. We're the only people who might be on their side at the moment, so it's for the good of the club to pretend you're backing them, even if you find it difficult.

Far too balanced and sensible post amongst all the nonsense.Wash your mouth out.

This isn't because of some bullshit mutiny, its because they have been insulting this season, and the manager has mainly lost his job because of performances on the pitch.

.

The manager does the prematch preparation, sets up the backroom team, sorts the tactics, gives them a game plan. All of that has been lacking this year.

I am asking for one fan to tell me what Claudio Ranieri's game plan was, what his football philosophy was and not one person can tell me!!

He won the league be tweaking an already semi successful formula and philosophy, he went back to his old-school techniques and thing fell apart. Why is it so difficult for people to see what happened?

I know that's an incredibly simplified take on things but that is also how I've interpreted the situation to be.

My message to anyone whose going to the game tonight and plans on singing for Ranieri is DON'T BOTHER COMING.

If you feel that strongly about it then go and hold a candlelight vigil outside his house or something whilst the game is on. If you truly care about the club then we need to close ranks and create a siege mentality that we're all in this together. Support for Ranieri will be a message of disapproval of the owners and players. We need to get behind the lads more than ever to give them that extra motivation to get us out of this mess.

I think it will make things less painful for you if you stay at home because i can guarantee there will be thousands of people singing his name, me included.

How can you make out that singing his name is out of order yet say a banner is acceptable. The man is a legend and like it or not, his name will echo.

Would you rather sing "Vardys on fire" having not scored a premier league goal this year..

RANIERIIIII OO OOOOO :scarf:

I'll support Leicester City and the players thank you very much.

You obviously think more of Ranieri than your club.

Whether you agree with the sacking or not you can't be that ignorant that you think the decision to fire him was a disgrace. Ranieri has been given time and money to get us out of this mess and we just keep getting worse, the biggest crime would have been to do nothing.

I can't embed tweet properly via my phone it seems.

Also check out the tweet where he smashed his Leicester mug and sent it to Vardy. That'll show him.

What a pillock! I hope he never come back, this club is bigger than 1 man, always will be.

Why do thickos not understand it was not possible for 1 individual to win us the league. If Ranieri went to Sunderland last year for example they would still be shit and certainly would not have won the league.

The reason he won the league here is a fantastic set of players, great team spirit, a fantastic backroom support network. People are willing to bad mouth players with over 3 years service to this club who have given their all for this club for one man, one man who was in the right place at the right time. He was as lucky to find them as they were to find him.

As soon as Ranieri started to make the changes the walls came crashing down......

And at any point did i say i wouldn't?

I don't think the decision to fire him was a disgrace, in fact i wanted to see it done after Swansea.

It's not about being on Ranieri or the clubs side....Its about showing appreciation for the man who gave us the best time of our lives as Leicester fans.

Im not booing, im not turning my back, il just make sure i show my appreciation for Ranieri. If you wish not to then put your fingers in your ears and sulk in the concourse.

Tonight is not the time or the place to show your appreciation for Ranieri.

Any support for him tonight will be seen as detrimental against the owners or the players. I'd like to think the fans would rally round the club, owners and players when they need us most rather than give the media fuel to add to the fire so they can divide us, at best I think your naive.

When is, out of curiosity?

When he next comes back but true Leicester City fans won't be alienating the club tonight.

Sky tv viewers, 5live listeners and pundits will all be looking for a backlash tonight, they'll be wanting to hear the booing and cat calling of the team. Relegation rivals will be looking for us to turn on the team and indicate that we are going to fall apart. I didn't want Ranieri gone but we have to back the team tonight and for the season, give all these pundits and other clubs fans a big **** you so they can hate us even more, but more importantly let the players know there is a siege on and we're on their side, let's all start fighting to get out of this and if we succeed questions can be asked in the summer when we know more. But now, is the time to fight.

Haha give it a rest you drip. If anything the players are alienating the fans by stealing their crazy wages each week whilst putting in zero effort to actually earn it.

Theres going to be thousands of fans singing his name - None of them as true a fan as you hey.

I don't mind us singing his name, we're league champions because of him, I don't think anyone at the club is expecting us to forget him from owners, coaches and players, just remember to back the team on the pitch as well, we're league champions because of them also.

Singing for Claudio before the game and backing the team during it are not mutually exclusive.
