Now, however, because he looks a better choice than the other managerial candidates you think he's the bees knees. hmm..... Bee's don't have knees
The Horse's Mouth Posted 3 March 2017 Posted 3 March 2017 I'd rather have Woy than gravel throat. he's much better at a nothing club like Burnley

In fairness I think the only people getting excited are half witted burnley fans, the lying, rumour hungry media and Mr Dyche's agent. He will be forgotten in a few years. Who was in charge of Barnsley when they had a brief sojourn in to the top flight and then disappeared to nowhere ? or Bradford? Exactly.
SheppyFox Posted 3 March 2017 Posted 3 March 2017 You lot keep making generalising and assuming posts.

Half decent English managers get overhyped, see Dyche and Howe. If Shakespeare won the league with us there'd be a nationwide media wank fest over him.

He's doing well for you this year and good luck to you, byt no thanks. Dyche, Hodgson, Pardew - landfill!

Sly Posted 3 March 2017 Posted 3 March 2017 For the record, I actually quite like him. I don't consider him to be a top manager though. He talks more sense than the bollovks Claudio used to roll out after yet another defeat this season. He plays the physiological side of management quite well. It amazes me that people actually despise the bloke because he states the odd fact.

The Doctor Posted 3 March 2017 Posted 3 March 2017 He's a bellend and useless in the transfer market (2m each on Sordell and Jutewicz was it?). No ta. He may be preferable to Hodgson, but tetanus is preferable to ebola - I'd still rather not get either.

As strikers go they look better value than Slimani though, and remember he signed Heaton (free) & Keane (£3 million) amongst others.

Good point. How many goals have they scored for you in the champions league ? anyway at least this stupid dyche rumour has put some excitement in your season. You'll be talking about this for years.

Goals per 90 minutes: Slimani - 0.47. Sordell - 0, Jutkiewictz - 0. Just because you spent comparatively little on them doesn't mean they're better value. By any measure you want they were absolutely abysmal signings.

He will get a bigger wage, bigger transfer budget, more high profile club (no offence to Burnley). Yep. Plus his family lives on the outskirts of Kettering so he'd be significantly closer to home. IF we want him, he'll come here.
