If you read the Spurs forum then you would think differently, they like to refer us as little Leicester.

Not the fact they haven't won the title for well over 50 years

lol

there are many on here who remember 8 years ago we were in league 1 and were little Leicester

Spurs historically have been a much better and bigger club than us , but the good thing about history is you can change its course with future endeavours !

It's much of muchness ain't it really. I'd certainly normally hate Chelsea more than Spurs naturally, as a Leicester fan with some idea of longer term history, but last season a lot of Spurs fans were deplorable.

The hazard goal was a memorable moment and all but Chelsea didn't win us that league, they might have put the final one in but Tony Pulis probably put more nails in that particular coffin. Ultimately we won it and we won't it by a canter.

Find it funny the amount of people that have turned coat with Kante, as well while we're at it. Gone from 80% of the board wanting him to suffer a career threatening injury and have his face spray pained over on king Richards road to wanting him to win the league just because he showed up to watch us play once.

I don't care who wins it, personally I think Chelsea deserve it ATM but if they piss their lead away and Spurs manage it with some very serious injury problems fair play to them, if they manage they will certainly have earnt it.

I think with the emergence of N'didi, it's rather smoothed thinks over

Chelsea will still win it, can imagine today just shook them a bit. They are still three results ahead but it also proves how efficient we were from February onwards to not lose a game like this such as Norwich, Newcastle or Swansea.

Lose to Man City and then pressure rises

and pressure can crack even the best teams !

We never really let pressure become an issue , and the others all were shite

Personally find all the hate for Spurs very childish. Gotta admit they are a decent team with some cracking players like Kane n Alli. Last season is done and without Spurs trying to challenge us it would have been VERY easy!!!

They are Driving the England set up really !

All the lads  who claim to be "loyal Leicester" seem to be ignoring the contribution these Spurs lads are making to the England setup

by hating spurs we are really saying "your our rivals"

when in reality I want to see the biggest two london clubs as our rivals Chelsea and Arsenal

forget spurs they are medium fish in a big pond

I like to go other forums, discuss football, nearest pubs etc.

I found them to be utter pricks, not the usual minority, it was most of them.

What made me laugh was when somebody posted a Geoff Peters twitter page picture showing a load of skeletons, saying we waited that long we all died, they hated that.

If anybody can find it, it's quite funny

Poppycock ! better team my backside, better players !  where ???? they`re above us purely because of our unknown problems, had they been sorted earlier we`d be above them again ! how did their Champions league campaign go by the way ?

They are above us because they are better than us and they'll be above us next season too.

I don't like Spurs but Pochettino is a superb manager and has built up their squad brilliantly. The likes of Eriksen, Ali, Kane would get into any side in the division.

My hatred of spurs goes back nearly 30 years, at school there were so many glory hunters. Spurs would have players like gazza and lineker, and Leicester were bottom of the second division. They were insufferable, I even wanted forest to do them in the FA cup final! Since those days I've worked with/for Spurs fans for most of my life and to a man they were all Prícks! I don't hate spurs for last season, last season was payback for the 27 years that came before it but I still fúcking hate spurs more than any other team and I always will!

Can't remember many glory hunting Spurs fans and I'm 46!!!! Now Liverpool and ManU glory hunting fabs us a different topic!!!

How are they driving the England set up? Their players have been poor internationally, Alli doesn't know how to pass, Kane has scored less than Vardy and Dier is nothing special. What else have they offered to England?

3 players? If Drinky got the chance he deserved, we would be offering 2, and they would both be making a direct impact (Drinky and Vards linked up well for England in the one game they played together). You could argue that Simpson has also been on better form over the last 2 years than some of the poor full backs we consistently choose for England and Albrighton is streets ahead of Sterling when on form.

We beat them last year by 10 points, we beat them this year by embarrassing them in the champs league and Vardy being better internationally than Horse face and when all their wannabe players leave next season we will beat them again.

Hate Spurs with a passion. I dislike Chelsea too, in fact I dislike most London based teams, they are arrogant. But Chelsea deserve the league this year, their upturn in form from last season has been special and the way they celebrated Hazard's goal has won me over slightly.

You also missed out Rose and Walker.

Not agreeing or disagreeing with you but Pochettino has built a good young squad there.

Nope. The full backs who get consistently picked but aren't anything special are definitely referenced in my post.

Admittedly my number is incorrect.

Rose has also only played 12 international games. So not really a regular.

I like Italian Managers and I loved The Little French Guy

After the reception they gave Claudio and the Team last year and of course the 2-2

I wouldn't mind Chelsea winning it................. But I would prefer us avoiding the drop

If I'm honest, don't like any of the top six though

And a few others too   ;)

I do agree it's a good squad. But I disagree that they are better than us. We've also got a good young squad. We've just fecked around with tactics too much this year.

Had we played the whole season playing to our strengths, as we have since Shakey took over, then I (it seems ludicrous for little Leicester i know ) strongly believe we would be right up there again. So many 'big' teams have been inconsistent again that there is no reason why we shouldn't (in terms of last season's form) be up there.

I like Spurs, always have. My uncle was the person who got me into football and he is a Spurs fan. When I moved to Leicester when I was six he told me "You're moving to Leicester, their football team is called Leicester City and they're your team now" and they have been ever since. Since that day we've always had little wagers and such when we were in the same division.

Young team, lots of likeable players, lots of homegrown talent, play exciting football. Would much prefer for them to win than the expensively assembled Chelsea.

All that aside it would be brilliant if we beat them and that hands Chelsea the title. Can only imagine the meltdown.

Rather spuds won it than manyoo, hope the mancs never win another title. Ferguson is responsible for many of the horrible traits now associated with a lot of premier league managers. From pressurising officials continually in the press, banning journos if they dared to point out his hypocritical ways, insisting on 10 minutes injury time if they are losing at 90 mins, insisting on no injury time if they were winning at 90 minutes, moaning incessantly about every decision against while ignoring any fortunate decisions for his team, encouraging his players to surround and intimidate referees, employing his son as an agent with dodgy, covered up deals being the norm.

That bloke (whilst undeniably a great manager) has been one of the biggest blights on English league football, period.

That said, with no allegiance to any of the bigger clubs, I'd rather anyone else won it rather than spuds so long as M utd finish outside the top four and don't win the Europa cup.

Another season of M Utd's Scottish, Irish and far eastern fans (who make up the vast majority of their support) watching everyone else play in the Champions league would be highly amusing for me.

No offence to any Scottish, Irish or far eastern Leicester fans intended.

I do believe that Pochettino is proving himself to be a very good manager though. Identifies young, homegrown talent and builds his team around them. Did it at Southampton and is now doing it again. I'd be surprised if he wasn't recognised as a genuinely great manager by the time his career concludes.

The fans, not the players, they're a decent team as they were last season, just that we were better then.

I'm not a spurs fan to put it mildly, but fair play to Pochettino, he's done a wonderful job there. Why can't they dream of winning the title? It would take a big falter from Chelsea, but if they do it then fair play to them. They have lots of young English players, play attrative stuff and have made a number of other teams look stupid if you compare their net spend. They also lost Luka Modric and Gareth Bale who both now play for the European Champions and yet are still competitive, so that's some going.

However, I do have to say that as someone that lives in London, their fans really wind me up! So I hope they don't win it any time soon.

The  best thing about this is that it is probably Tottenham's last chance of winning the league for a while, I feel like they'll struggle next season as they are most likely playing home games at Wembley and that worked out terribly for them this season in Europe.

Codswallop, as I said before they are above us because of our mystery poor form, had we started the season with the REAL LCFC, the LCFC we are seeing now, the LCFC that are in the Champions League quarter finals we would be right up there above them, and as I asked you before, how did they do in the Champions League with the likes of Ali, Kane and Eriksen ???

So you think we'd be second then. Okay, I'm not continuing this debate now.
