OK discontinue the masdebate :-)  will ask you one more time though, just in case you answer, how did the MIGHTY spurs do in the Champions League ?

They did shit and yes we could be above them if claudio hadn't decided for some reason that we change our style of play. We ARE a very good side who should be well up the table . On our day we are unplayable.

I found them (Spurs)  to be utter pricks, not the usual minority, it was most of them. What made me laugh was when somebody posted a Geoff Peters twitter page picture showing a load of skeletons, saying we waited that long we all died, they hated that. If anybody can find it, it's quite funny

It's not that funny really

My hatred of Spurs goes back to the 1999 league cup final when they beat us in injury time. Walking back to wembley tube station every pub was full of spurs fans who obviously hadn't had tickets for the game, but came down for trouble afterwards. Every pub we passed they came out to confront us and goad us into bother even though I had my 12 year old son with me at the time. All of them utter pri*ks.

Best part of the game was when Robbie Savage went down like a sack of sh**t to get Justin Edinburgh sent off. Seem to remember Heskey could have won it for us or at least drew level.

Happy days.

Why? After last season? Hazard?

I'd love Chelsea to win it

Yeah I'm board with this; the Spuds fans have been insufferable this season because they've carried on fighting at the top and are of course, in no way bitter about what happened last season.

Commmmmmon  you Spurs...!!!!

Only for tonight..though...

They seemed destined to be a permanent also run.

That said they have great players, play nice football, and if city

have from now on a simular record, I would be more than happy...

Not forgetting, we have that PL title...behind us.:D

I have the same opinion and had the exact same experience minus the 12 year old.

I've seen nothing in them in the 18 years since to change my opinion.

great to see spurs win again - will make the disappointment even tougher. they are on a no win again. keep winning and the false hope will kill them up until they cant catch Chelsea. stop winning and they will go down as bottlers again - love it!!

I remember we were stuck in the Wembley car park after that game sitting on the coach in gridlock queuing to get out.

About six Spurs fans were in a white Limo going down one of the back streets behind the car park a few hundred yards away. They were hanging out of the roof and windows with bottles of champagne, horn blazing, and shouting all sorts of abuse at Leicester fans.

Then their Limo also hit traffic and stopped. Immediately all the Leicester lads got off the coach and ran over to them.

You can guess the rest.

I'm not a violent man, but it was slightly amusing to watch them get their comeuppance :D

As a Spurs fan;

- I find it hilarious how much credit so many Leicester fans give Chelsea for winning the league last season. Take credit for your own work - Chelsea had nothing to do with it. Hang on, who won the league last season anyway?

- We have plenty of rivals, whereas Leicester don't really have any proper ones now. I understand why so many want to latch on to a rivalry, but please understand it's all very childish. There's no point manifesting a 'rivalry', then in your next breath talking about how terrible and petulant some Spurs fans were for singing 'we're coming for you'.

- Spurs never win anything and we all know it. Being a football fan isn't about glory though... is it? Most football fans get to support 'underachieving' clubs - that's part of the beauty. You wouldn't have had it any other way, regardless of winning the league... (would you?)

- So many self righteous, narrow minded, hypocrites on here that seem to think 'Spurs fans are nasty people - that's why we don't like them'. Every set of fans has their fair share of good and bad. You can isolate the pockets of fans you chose to. Personally, I don't view ALL Leicester fans as 'pakki bashers' - which is a term I had no knowledge of until meeting Leicester fans. You talk about 'guy shouting in a pub' like he's a representative of all Spurs fans.. It's the same mentality as the anti muslin sentiment that is so strong currently. Why not use the Spurs fan that ran on the pitch and saved Muamba's life in that FA cup tie as the example of all of them?

A bit of glory can turn fans in to a whole new beast - and there's a part of me that is content without winning cups, and a part that is worried about having a 61,000 top notch stadium with some of the worlds best players.

As a football fan I always support the under dog or the losing team once a game kicks off. We are certainly the under dogs this season, but setting another record point tally last night with 5 games to go is excellent, and a successful season regardless of out final league position.

I only post here because it's a shame reading the points of view regarding Spurs - which are predominantly based around fan actions. Interestingly the Chelsea shed end skin heads are overlooked in such discussions, as are the guys who wouldn't let a black guy on a train, as is their racist captain that was shagging his team mates partner? I don't know.. For me, the order of our rivals goes West Ham, Chelsea, Millwall, Arsenal, any Pardew team - and then maybe Leicester if it counts after so many others - excluding foreign teams.

Just support Spurs over Chelsea guys! They have purchased plenty of trophy's recently anyway. Don't you want the joy you had to be experienced by others? Or would you rather fans that EXPECT to win titles can say 'good, sack the manager for anything less' at the end of a season?

What an absolute shit show of a post. Pakki Bashers? What have you been smoking?

I haven't see anybody trying to force a rivalry on here. We enjoyed our rivalry last season and the game against Chelsea and most (if not all) Leicester fans call it the best night of our supporting lives. Don't get jealous that we've formed a bit of a friendship (it's more of a respect) because Chelsea turned up that night.

I'd actually go as far to say that we have more of a rivalry with Chelsea than yourselves.
