The only other options were an Independent, UKIP or Green. I couldn't vote for Labour even if I wanted to as they didn't put up a candidate. Doesn't seem right somehow. Seems that way sometimes doesn't it? We have a crap system really, but when there was an option to change it, no one voted for it! Probaby get more people engaged if the Election was run over 10 saturday nights like BGT or XFactor!

Don't get the ones that cosset themselves.

But come on these ridiculous anecdotes of supposedly fcukwits becomes a bit tedious after the first 1000 or so, it's a poor attempt to stereotype as idiots all those with an opposing political view to yours, my reply was merely to add a bit of light hearted frivolities to proceedings

Thing is, whoever wins is by no means pm for the foreseeable future. Going to be a lot of Labour mp's who bit their tongue during the campaign but will make things difficult for Corbyn if he gets in. His manifesto hardly matches his true desires.
Buzzell Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 Fvck voting. I'll leave the future of our country in you're lots hands. Make the right choice people.

Those that oppose him in the Labour party need to make a choice. The campaign has gone well and a double digit Tory majority would have been beyond their wildest dreams when the election was called which'll mean Corbyn will stay. Their choice will be get behind him (which I doubt they'll do) or split and form a different party (which I can completely see).
steflcfc Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 I have struggled to come to a decision on who I fancied most as Prime Minister (I couldn't warm to either of them and I haven't ever stuck to a certain political party). So after trying to weight up the "Pro's and Cons" of all manifesto's, I felt it better that I didn't vote tonight as I couldn't be comfortable picking one over the other. So may the best man/woman win, and let's hope we all get behind whoever comes out on top and lead this great country forward.

Suppose it would have to be Esther McVey or maybe Caroline Flint... (not sure if she is even still an MP...)

Guest MattP Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 Scotland now looking really good for Tories, I'm told 10-12 gains from the SNP possible #GE2017 From Tom Newton-Dunn

Would love to see Sturgeon's smirk wiped of her face. That would be a result for the Conservatives, wouldn't it?

Bryn Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 I won't get my hopes up. I won't. Ideal outcome I think that to be honest, Corbyn tempered by other parties, May at the bottom of the Atlantic.
