The only way we are going to improve is by buying players who go straight into our first X11 and then the first teamers drop to the bench, that's how our squad becomes stronger. In regards to CM, we need back up. Drinkwater will come good again next season & Ndidi doesn't need replacing. Bar James imo, the back up in this position is average & needs upgrading. We keep signing these backups and they are no good. Sign players who you think are already better than what you've got and then the first teamers drop down to the bench and we won't have that problem again. I'd imagine we would have to pay a fairly large fee and large wages for him. Plus, he was catastrophic for Man City.
