Interestingly, it can be. Rather than agreeing to the fee per se, the parties simply have to agree to a determination procedure, in case of dispute that would simply be determined by an independently qualified individual to act as an expert (most likely a lawyer of at least ten years PQE relevant experience, appointed by the president of the law society).

the problem here is the image rights and the role of the agent is more so an objective test and allowing for dispute resolution after the event would allow the parties to gather relevant evidence without need to rush it through, to allow the expert to determine the outcome.

Yes, I am bored - please sign kelechi.

My point is that if the deal is done subject to sorting out the old agent then then he becomes too strong and will demand even more as he knows he holds all the cards. Whilst the deal remains 'agreed in principle' he isn't assured of a payout as it could fall apart.

I think we need to bring in Anderson Perry to get this "wheel" over the line.

Hold on. The deal isn't done. Unless I've read your post wrong, you've simply stated the same point in different terminology. The deal is done subject to the parties resolving the agents issue. Or that's what Ive picked up from the media outlets. Hence the terminology, the deal is agreed in principle. If the deal is done with the agent issue carved out and to be dealt with by way of DR in dispute, the agent, Kelechi, his new representatives will be bound by the provisions of that agreement governing any experts decision. An expert decision is final and binding and must act independently so there is no room to add undue pressure to it to increase your own bargaining power.

Like i said, I am bored and want him to sign!! The more this goes on the more likely he will end up somewhere else, he's an absolute catch.

Hilarious.

With a username like mozartfox, I was inclined to think you might be an intelligent individual.

I was wrong, in more ways than one.

How sure are you.

Given he works in the medical department, pretty ****ing sure I'd imagine.

I expected this deal to be done by now. If it goes into next week I can't see it happening.
